This course is an introduction to the elements of geometry, including points, lines, planes, and angles. These elements are used in conjunction with triangles, polygonal and circular figures in both two and three dimensional configurations. This course is intended for students who have not had or completed two semesters of high school geometry or who need a refresher prior to taking trigonometry.
Note: New videos are consistently being populated.
This video continues introducing the basic building blocks for the successful study of geometry. This video reviews the basic concepts associated with sets. In addition, this video goes over 6 examples involving the union and intersection of geometric figures.
This video introduces the basic concepts associated with measurement of segments. Topics covered: Measuring Segments and Congruent Segments.
In this video we will start taking a look at simple examples that require us to find the length of segments and use the concept of congruent segments.
In this video we will go over 2 additional examples that involve congruent segments.
In this last video on measurement of segments we will go over 2 challenging examples involving congruent segments and plenty of algebra to solve.
