  • Start your Space Rocks project with a simple planning document5:06

Begin every game project with a project plan. This plan defines exactly what you need to make happen in your game, including:

    1. Graphics, sound effects, and music needed.
    2. What controls your player has.
    3. Feedback loop elements: Score, Health, Lives, etc.
    4. Generally, anything you want to happen in your game needs to be defined in this plan.

Watch as we simply use pencil and paper to plan out our classic arcade shooter.

  • Downloadable source files for all Space Rocks lectures0:32
Are you interested in making game art, and couldn't care less about making sound effects? Perhaps you want to learn game programming and don't want to trudge through the game graphics lectures?
