FitFu is a cardio kung fu workout designed to train body mind and spirit. You will focus on delivering martial art movements in a fast and explosive manner to elevate the heart rate while trying to maintain composure of the movement.
Once you have a good understanding of the routine you will learn how to open the meridians of the body to increase circulation and increase the oxygen levels within the blood that travels to the extremities of the body. Pok Sou (Open Hand strike) when throwing the hand it is like picking up a ball and throwing a ball forward, each movement you close your hand and open to release the ball
Spearing fist driving the hand forward like shooting an arrow catch the knuckle on each strike, on return of the hand open and look at the palm
Hammer Fist each movement you will catch the hand on return open the hand then catch on impact, your focus will be on the still hand
When delivering the knee bring the knee up in the direction of the chin remain upright at all times push through the pain
MAKE PAIN YOUR FRIEND - NO PAIN NO GAIN
Deliver the kick either with the top of the foot or pull toes back and kick with ball of foot, remain upright lift knee first then project foot forward do not lean back
The routine shows the movements put together and played one time to achieve 10min play routine twice, repeat routine 2-3 times per day to achieve maximum results best time to train is early morning on sunrise when the air is at its richest

Sifu Adam Hansen has trained in martial arts since the age of 8, his first contact with the Southern Praying Mantis kung Fu was in 1985, in 1989 started training SPM full time, in 1991 became one of the head instructors at the Chinese Kung Fu Academy on the Gold Coast Australia. In 1998 graded to Master level and opened his first school. In 2004 Blue Mantis Training Systems was established under this banner we offer Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Qi Gung, Womens Self Defence, Corporate training packages to improve the quality of mind.
