Description

In this course, I will show you some keyboard and mouse shortcuts for MS Excel that have helped me a lot in my 7+ years long data analyst career.

This short, 30 minutes, course is designed for everyday users of Excel who still consider themselves beginners in this software package. This seemingly contradictory statement becomes logical if you consider that most people perform their everyday tasks on one and the same way, rarely exploring new opportunities that would facilitate their work. This applies to all aspects of life, and Excel, with its many mouse and keyboard shortcuts, is a good example. With this tool, you can perform any action in a number of ways but the question is whether these ways are equally effective. When I talk about efficiency, I do not think that in the cold, heartless, 'corporate' sense. I mean the efficacy which is concerned with you, personally, in your workplace. When you gain the ability to perform some actions fast, your self-confidence will rise up, the level of stress gets reduced and and you get a relieve a bit of time. In this course I'll show you some shortcuts for working in Excel that you may save up to half an hour per day. Those shortcuts are nothing epic or concealed but are relatively seldom used because people tend to take the path of least resistance. You can do better than that.

Who is the target audience?
  • Everyday Excel users who perform same tasks every day and feel that there should be an easier way to do it.
  • Course targets Windows users, although Mac users can find it useful, too.

Electrical Engineer, Entrepreneur, Game Developer

Game developer and entrepreneur, most of my life I have been dealing with a huge amount of data that had to be processed, compiled and presented to people in easy way.

Graduated on Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade (dipl. el. ing - Master level). After short career in that profession, I switched to the field of marketing, in agency Ogilvy & Mather, where I spent 7 years working on positions from Media Planner to Media Account Manager, mostly working on campaign planning, data analysis and presentation. List of clients that I've been closely working with includes Unilever, LG, Samsung, Lufthansa... In 2010. I left the corporate job and returned to my old childhood love - game development, this time like an entrepreneur. With a perfect family that I already had, I got a perfect job, and my own paradise was complete.

During my life I had various interests - programming, psychology, history, painting, mathematics... I have learned a lot - something on my own, something on my jobs, something even in school. I believe that the meaning of life lies in cycles of learning and creation, and that both should be fun. I would like to share some of my knowledge with you. Let's learn together.
