Have you heard the term Blockchain & Smart Contracts?
How about hearing about the Solidity programming language?
Maybe you’ve been hearing about Decentralised Blockchain Apps?
Whatever your motivation to start on your journey with developing decentralised Blockchain apps, you’ve come to the right place to get started on it.
Ethereum Developer: Build A Decentralised Blockchain App, is the most comprehensive course on building a decentralised blockchain application anywhere on the web.
It’s the one place with everything you need to get started with developing decentralised Blockchain apps through the path of least resistance, and become an early adopter who has the chance to experience its rise in popularity.
This is an effective and practical course that will take you from zero knowledge on developing decentralised Blockchain apps, to become an active early adopter who can develop Ethereum based Blockchain apps.
While there are plenty of guides scattered around the web, it’s hard to find a focused Ethereum Developer video course like this one that is updated regularly, and on top of that is instructed by two instructor who have a great understanding of this world.
Nothing is kept a secret. We take you through step by step on how to build a decentralised Blockchain app. On top of that you’ll have access to us on-demand through the course discussion board should you encounter any issues.
This course is designed for anyone who wants to become an early adopter of the emerging decentralised Blockchain apps market. So if you’ve heard about decentralised Blockchain apps but have yet to get involved, you’re in the right place to jump in.
Here is the software that we use throughout the course:
You will learn how to use Solidity 3, Truffle 2 and write a complete distributed Application using Angular.
By the end you’ll have developed a shared wallet which can fold funds on the blockchain. That wallet will also hold a list of accounts which are permitted to access these funds.
Additionally it has a transcript of deposits and withdrawals which can be accessed from the site. You’ll understand the usage of different datatypes, what are contacts functions. And you’ll understand how how to access/change data on the blockchain.
The script of our Dapp is to show the usage of Truffle, in combination with Angular. This will demonstrate to you how to working with the Ethereum Blockchain, and Web 3. As well as how to listen and react to specific events, and write test cases to deploy the DApp.
This course is split over 7 sections, and contains over 40 highly practical lectures.
I’ll be teaching you right through from section 1 to section 2, then will join you again in section 7. Just a little about me especially for those of you who haven’t enrolled on my previous courses. I’ve delivered live Cryptocurrency and Blockchain classes for individuals around the UK. That Lead to the creation of B21 Block, where I bring quality Cryptocurrency and Blockchain education online.
My co-instructor Thomas will be teaching you from section 3 to section 6. He has a masters in computer science, and is an expert in ethereum decentralised app development.
At the end of every section you’ll either be set an assignment to create your Dapp. This is a bootcamp type of course to help you create a Dapp in the shortest possible time.
So when we go to use MIST, Truffle and more later in the course these are in the BETA stage. Being in BETA stage these languages may have teething issues, I emphasise the word “may”. The great thing about taking this course is that you have experts to help you navigate this early tech. So you not only gain the content of the course but also the help of both me and Thomas.
Like many you would’ve heard the word Blockchain thrown around a lot be wondering what it is. We want to make sure you understand what the blockchain is, as you’re going to be working with it. Initially we're going to give you the Bitcoin Blockchain example and then explain how Ethereums Differs.
Lets take our discussion from the last lecture a step further now discussing different blockchains. So you can essentially can create three blockchain types public, consortium and private. Lets now go over how each blockchain is different in its approach.
I’m hedging my bets on you having heard about smart contracts. So what are they? Smart contracts are as they say, smart contracts. But what makes them smart contracts? Well lets jump into this lecture where I’ll explain just how smart contracts work.
What an exciting learning journey we’ve just been on, this is cutting edge technology. I hope you feel good about being apart of something so innovative at its infancy. Now let me just round this course off for you.
