Algunos de los temas a aprender en el curso lo son: formas de pregunta, antonimos, direcciones, genero y familia, recreacion, meses, numeros, praticas, entre muchos otros.

El profesor Diaz, es graduado de Tecnologia de Ingenieria Electronica y de Ciencias en Interpretacion en Lenguaje de Senas. Siendo esta ultima, la profesion que ha desempenado por los pasados 26 años. Participante del programa de otono 4 de: LaGuardia Community College en NY y el Programa de verano de la Universidad de Gallaudet en Washington DC. Comenzó como intérprete para la Oficina del Procurador de las Personas con Impedimentos, la Agencia Estatal para el Manejo de Emergencias y WIPR. Durante esa funcion gubernamental, tuvo la oportunidad de: Servir como interprete a tres gobernadores y un presidente de los EEUU. Fue intérprete para el Safety Board, por la explosion de Humberto Vidal y varios eventos meteorologicos. Fue moderador del programa televisivo “ABC en Senas. Fue el primer presidente del Registro de Interpretes a Sordos de PR (PRRID) y el primer gerente de la compania de VRS, Sorenson. Fue impulsador de varios proyectos de ley, que redundaron en beneficio para la comunidad sorda y los interpretes, como lo fue la enmienda a la Ley de Etica Gubernamental y la enmienda al articulo 11 (libertad de movimiento )de la Ley 285. Ha sido profesor de lenguaje de senas e interpretacion para: la Universidad del Turabo, Proyecto DARS para interpretes Trilingues, las organizaciones OIDOS Inc y Servicios Orientados al Sordo, de donde es Co-fundador. En la actualidad, continua esfuerzos de colaboracion con la Asociacion de Sordos de Cuba y a la Universidad de la Habana, en sus proyectos de interpretación y certificacion. Su más reciente proyecto es el DVD titulado: Esta en tus Manos. // Professor Diaz is a graduate of Electronic Engineering Technology and Sciences in Interpretation in Sign Language. Being this last one, the profession that has played for the past 26 years. Participant in the Autumn Program 4 of: LaGuardia Community College in NY and Summer Program of the University of Gallaudet in Washington DC.

He began as an interpreter for the Office of the Prosecutor for Persons with Disabilities, the State Agency for Emergency Management and WIPR. During that governmental function, he had the opportunity to: Serve as interpreter to three governors and a president of the USA. He was interpreter for the Safety Board, for the explosion of Humberto Vidal and several meteorological events. He was moderator of the television show "ABC in Sign".

He was the first president of the PR Deaf Interpreter Registry (PRRID) and the first manager of the VRS company, Sorenson. He was the promoter of several bills, which benefited the deaf community and the interpreters, such as the amendment to the Government Ethics Law and the amendment to article 11 (freedom of movement) of Law 285.

He has been a professor of language and interpretation for: Turabo University, DARS Project for Trilingual Interpreters, OIDOS Inc and Sordo-oriented Services, where he is a Co-founder.

At present, he continues efforts of collaboration with the Deaf Association of Cuba and the University of Havana, in his projects of interpretation and certification.
