In China the Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi, or HSK, test is given to non-Chinese speakers who want to study at Chinese universities or to work for businesses in China. Under the new working visa guidelines of China, a higher level HSK result can offer more points toward being accepted for a working visa.
Hello, I'm Erica. I'm from northeast China, not far from the border with North Korea. I have my own school now to teach English to children, but for several years I worked at other schools with teachers from all over the world. I saw how difficult it was for them to learn Chinese, and many asked me to help them to learn Chinese, so I decided to make these courses to help other foreigners who might want to come to China.
