Most people are stuck in a job building someone else’s dream at the expense of building their own dream. What most people do not realize is that they have a natural born talent and/or unique story that they can leverage to build a business of their dreams that also benefits the world. This course will help you discover those natural gift(s) that you didn’t realize you had and walk you through step-by-step on how you can build your brand from the ground up. You will also learn how you can take that brand and leverage it into creating other businesses and multiple streams of income.
If this is your first interaction with me, then you might be asking yourself why should I take a course from this guy? Well, let me briefly share my journey with you. I was able to discover that I had a gift for writing and a passion for helping others, so at the age of 22 I wrote a self-help book. I then became my own manager, publicist, and agent pitching my book and landed the opportunity to share my story on several global networks including the Oprah Winfrey Show. I found ways to utilize my status as an author to book speaking engagements, become a consultant, become a life coach, and become a ghostwriter. By the time I was 27, I had become a full-time entrepreneur.
Fast forwarding to today, at 31 years old, I’ve coached over 300 high-profile clients. I’m a bestselling author and an intercontinental speaker. I have a social media platform that reaches tens of millions of people a week. I also own 5 companies, from a publishing company, media company, consulting company, and even a soul food restaurant and real estate investment company. All together I have over 30 streams of income and counting. This all started from me realizing my natural gifts, staying aligned with my purpose of helping others and taking strategic action along the way.

This section “Discovering your Gifts” is the basis for the entire course ahead. This is the self-discovery stage. You will learn how to identify your gifts and your passions and how you can merge the two to seamlessly start a company(s) of your own. If you have ever asked yourself questions like “What am I supposed to be doing in this world?” “What am I good at?” or “What kind of company can I start?”, then you will want to pay close attention to the videos in this section. I hope you have your pen and notepad ready!
In this lecture, I will help you understand what a “gift” is and how you can be clear on what are your gifts.
A passion is different from a gift. A lot of times people confuse the two, so in this lecture I help you understand the difference and the importance of labeling the two before moving forward.
After you have properly identified your gifts and your passions, I will now illustrate how you can merge the two and discover your new company.
Before starting a company, you might have thoughts of apprehension and wonder if it is the right time for you to start a company after discovering the company that you should start. I’d like to address those apprehensions and help you understand if you are ready to move forward.
I urge you to do this activity TODAY. You will be able to see your new company reveal itself in this simple three step process. Take your time with it and make sure you apply the principles you’ve learned in this section. Once you’ve completed this activity, you are one step closer to starting your company and ready to move on to the next section.
In this section, I will illustrate my experiences as an entrepreneur and extract principles that I learned along the way to help you go from the idea stage to formally starting your own company. Let’s get started!
Everybody is different and has unique circumstances, so I’d like to address some things you should consider before making your entrepreneurial venture a full-time pursuit. Depending on your situation, you might have to balance the pursuit of your entrepreneurial journey with working a day job. The important thing is that you make progress. Before you decide on doing this full-time or part-time for now, let me offer you some things to consider.
Depending on your mission and the type of service/product you will be providing within your new company, it might be more appropriate for you to either operate as a non-profit or operate as a for profit company. There are benefits to each. In this lecture, I will help you decide which one is appropriate for your company.
Naming your company is an important step. When chosen properly it can serve as a strong branding and marketing tool. There are different tactics you can use to create a company name that is right for your company. In this lecture, I will share with you the tactics that I have learned and the importance of choosing a company name.
The first step in starting your company is getting registered as a company. There are companies who will try to charge you an enormous amount to register your company for you. Well, let me tell you the process is simpler than it may sound and less expensive if you do it yourself. I will share with you how you can register your company on your own and save your pockets. I also address in this lecture what you should consider when choosing the state to register your company in.
In this section, I’ll be sharing some tools that will help you get your company up in running, such as tools to develop a website and set up a payment processor all on your own. This lecture will help you save costs while making your business functional. (P.S. I do not have endorsement deals with any of the companies whose resources I suggest in this section. These are resources I simply found to be helpful on my journey.)
As you are building your business from scratch, there may be times when you will need help from others in order to get the job done. However, you do not want to get too much outside help that you become overly dependent on others to carry your business forward. There is a balance that must be sought. In this video, I will address a balanced approach for seeking outside assistance.
Now that you have finished this section, it’s time to take action (if you haven’t already). Here’s a short overview of what we’ve went over so far, along with some actions steps you can get started on right now.
The success of your business hinges on the brand that supports it. In the lectures ahead, we will be going over the key elements to building a sustainable, personal brand and/or company brand.
One of the most important elements of a sustainable brand is credibility. Credibility can be built in many ways, but I’ve found one way that has helped the most innovative people and companies obtain it. (Hint: It starts with a “P”)
Establishing a strong online presence can generate an enormous amount of momentum for you and/or your company. In this lecture, I will be discussing the importance of an online presence and how I was able to build a brand that engages millions of people a week by generating an online presence.
When building a brand it is important to understand who your product and/or service is for so you can market effectively, but I’d like to address how you authentically attract and identify your target audience.
As you are building an online presence for you and/or your company, it is important that you provide consistent and creative content. In this lecture, I will explain why and some tips that helped me build a massive following online.

As you are building your brand online and consistently producing quality content, you will naturally generate leads, but you must be prepared in order to convert those leads into revenue producing opportunities. I will illustrate how you identify leads, respond to leads, and convert leads to generate revenue in this lecture.
Once you have responded to a lead or sought out a lead and they are ready to pay for your product or service, what price do you charge? The rate you offer can make or break the opportunity. In this lecture, I discuss how to approach setting your rate when you do not know what you should charge.

I have created five businesses that collectively generate over thirty streams of income (and counting). In this lecture, I will be teaching how you similarly produce multiple streams of income and know when the timing is right to begin producing a new stream of income.
As you are building your business, there will come a time when you will need the assistance of others in order to fulfill the vision you have for the company. In this Q&A video, I’ll discuss when is the right time to start building a team, how to select the people to join your team, how to manage your team, and the proper way to lead your team.
In order to produce you must create a schedule. During this lecture, I will be discussing the importance of scheduling with some examples of how I schedule my work week to stay productive.

This will open up the opportunity for you to become a consultant and help others build their dreams. In this section, I will be discussing when and how to transition into the role of a consultant and the importance of sharing your gift in this capacity.
Charitable giving can come in two forms, either monetary means or through the giving of your time. Both are beneficial. I’ll share with you why charitable giving is important and how to find the balance between giving freely and making a living.
This course is my way of giving back to others, so that they can be successful in what I have found success in. As you build your business, you too will develop an expertise that you can share in the form of an online course as well. During this lecture, I will be explaining why you should develop an online course and how to simply produce your own online course.
