Do you start sweating at the thought of negotiating anything? Do you find yourself seizing up when it comes time to ask for a raise? Buy a new car?
Face it. Almost everything we do results in a negotiation. If you have children, it's going to bed or finishing dinner. If you have a boss, it's when you work and what work you do. If you have employees, it the reverse... If you are in business, it's over the price of your product or service.
There is nothing you do as stressful as negotiations.
And there's nothing as important to your livelihood and success as your ability to negotiate.
This course is not about the nuts and bolts of Negotiation Techniques. There are lots of resources for that. This is a course about how to reduce the stress that arises during negotiations. This stress stops your mind from working at peak efficiency.
If you are negotiating in a stressful state, your results will be a lot poorer than if you are calm and relaxed (on the inside). If you are in control, you normally win your negotiation.
In this course, we will teach you the foundations of successful negotiations from the inside:
Then we get into specific issues that you run into as you negotiate. These emotional tripwires can quickly derail your success in negotiations:
So don't delay! Register for this fast-paced and engaging course and become a Negotiation Superstar!
What are Emotional Freedom Techniques? Learn why EFT is helpful in business.
Before you go further, you have to understand your responsibilities using EFT.
Hello Students! Who are you? Where are you? Why did you choose the this course? With whom do you want to negotiate? What are you goals? What are your dreams?
Every human is electric. Humans have subtle energies that drive all physical, emotional and mental systems. We run on electricity. This course teaches how to harness your energies for optimum benefit in negotiations.
Water, water, water. Humans are 80% water. Stay hydrated for best results.
Your brain is like an iceberg. 10% is above water, 90% is below water. Your subconscious is the 90% below water. We make our choices and decisions from our subconscious.
Balance your brain to make EFT more effective. Use this technique between tapping rounds for optimum results.
Get to know someone before your conversation. Learn their background, interests, values and passions to put them at ease. They are more likely to agree with you and help you reach your goals.
This section takes you through EFT for 8 reasons you may sabotage your success in negotiating; fear of past trauma during a negotiation, fear of being rejected, fear of being fired, being uncomfortable with a pause in the conversation, belief that you are not being heard, staying focused on your goal, not being greedy and setting boundaries.
The most common fear in negotiating is the fear of rejection. This lecture teaches how to release that fear.
"What if I am fired?" I help you release this fear through tapping.
Are you uncomfortable with a pause in conversation? This lesson helps you feel comfortable with that pause. The pause is where success occurs. Wait for the "yes" from the other person. Success is in this moment.
This lesson releases the belief that you are not being heard. That belief is definitely from an event in your childhood. Let me help you change it to "I am heard and validated."
“If I negotiate this much I can ask for more." This belief will sabotage you. Take your goals one step at a time.
Set boundaries. Do not let other people's opinions interfere with your dreams.
When have you felt this in the past? This lesson teaches how to release past fears.
Where do I go from here? Practice, practice, practice EFT every day. You will have a cognitive shift. You will be relaxed and confident in your negotiations.
We are an international group. Ask questions. Learn from each other. I will address your specific needs. Share your success after practicing EFT. This course is organic meaning we communicate with each other.

After earning her B.A. in sociology and psychology from Muskingum College in Ohio, Joan began working as a real estate property manager. She pulled her hair more than ever and added compulsive checking to her list of OCD traits. She did not hide her pulling from her co-workers but was dismayed to think she was the only one who pulled and that no mental health professional knew how to help her. She had been to a psychiatrist and therapist who were unable to help her. This was before current medications and treatment methods were known.
Joan began pulling her hair at age 11 in 6th grade. Her pulled from her scalp for 25 years from age 11 to 36. In 1989, she read the book “The Boy Who Couldn’t Stop Washing” by Judith Rapoport, M.D. Upon reading her book, she discovered “Jackie P.”, a woman who pulled out every hair on her head and face. From her insistence, she would not be turned away by the NIMH study of OCD. From Jackie P’s courage to come forward, herself and millions of “pullers” now know they are not alone with Trichotillomania.
Trichotillomania is the inability to resist the urge to pull out hair resulting in noticeable hair loss. The act of pulling comforts, eases emotional pain, and is fun until the pulling episode is over. Then the puller experiences extreme shame, disgust, and anger over mutilating themselves and losing control. " I have been on both sides of this fence and have dedicated my life to helping people out of this cycle" Kaylor states.
From the studies at the National Institute of Mental Health … and because of the work of the Trichotillomania Learning Center and Obsessive-Compulsive Foundation, millions of people now can recognize symptoms of trichotillomania and OCD.
