Make skincare products that you and your skin can eat! Lip Balm, Lip Scrub, Face Wash, Cream and Moisturisers ❤
We are going to experience making natural skincare products with organic raw vegan ingredients which are food-grade, easy to find, local, fresh and very affordable. With this course you will feel inspired to incorporate more fresh fruits and veggies in your beauty routine and diets.
It is fun, creative and your skin and body will love it! D.I.Y. your own skincare products is not just a craft or a money-saving skill, but also a lifestyle that contributes to your health and beauty. I had serious eczema about 6 years ago and I tried to heal my skin by studying different natural therapies and making my own natural face cream and face cleansers. About 2 years ago, I became interested in raw veganism, and felt the urge to put raw vegan elements into my cosmetics.
Why & What is raw?
Fruits and vegetables are full of antioxidants, vitamins, bioavailable water and skin reviving acids which are more stable, more effective and sustainable for your skin than the concentrated and processed substances in commercial beauty products. Flowers like roses and lilies will also be used in our skincare products. You will be surprised how easy it is to make face cream and moisturisers out of them.
Raw cold pressed plant oil, grains and seeds are full of skin-loving fatty acids and minerals. You can make lip balm, face cleaner, scrubs and face cream with these beautiful ingredients, with a shelf life of up to 6 months.
In the 27 lectures of the course you will learn how to make 8 products, divided into 4 sessions:
Why join me to D.I.Y. 'skin food'?
Enjoy natural skincare products with transparency of ingredients. By making it yourself, you can make sure to use only natural ingredients that improve your skin health rather than just performing instant results.
‘Only put what you can eat on your skin’ sounds like an old saying of your grandma, but it is true! Pineapples, bananas, strawberries, sesames, avocados, lemons, cucumber and many more, they are my 'skin food'! Yum!
I save a lot of money making my own raw beauty routine, instead of buying premium quality organic skincare products. I once found a raw face cream of 50g in an online shop for $35 and I felt so happy that I can make it myself for about $2!
Raw vegan skincare products do last long! Many raw ingredients like plant oils, seeds, grains and minerals have very stable antioxidants and antibacterial properties and have very low water content for bacteria to grow. Skincare products made with these ingredients can last for up to 6 months and possibly longer.
You can make your very own skincare products which fits your skin type because you will learn how to make them and also the nature and characters of different ingredients. You can be creative in designing your combinations and recipes!
Make your own lip balm that gives your lips essential cares and won't make you addicted to!
Create a lip scrub that treats cracked lips and feels like a lip mask!
A soap-free face wash or face scrub inspired by Asian beauty secret!
You can clean your face anywhere and any time with this handy-to-go moisturising face cleanser!
Use pure ingredients to make a cream for your whole body, light feeling and intensive care!
I use it as a cleanser-cream-mask-all-in-one, saving so much time and work!
Naked cute cucumber face toner!
We are flower lovers! It is beautiful to use our favourite flowers to make a flower tea for our skin.
I am Luna. I am so excited to be here to share with you my experience and passion for natural lifestyles and to meet inspiring people from all over the world.
I am a raw food enthusiast, a raw skincare product maker, a model and a photo artist. To me, freshness and simplicity are very important qualities of the 'food' I eat and put on my skin. Yes, it's 'food' I put on my skin. I believe in the power of fresh fruits, vegetables, raw cold-pressed plant oil and botanicals that are easy to find locally. It feels beautiful and empowering to use all these natural goodness from the earth and to have a comprehensive view of all ingredients that go into the skincare products I use.
I am attracted to and inspired by all little beautiful things in everyday life. Photography and modelling are my forms of art to express my inspirations, delicacy and femininity. The texture of skin the hair is very provocative in visual arts, and very personal, tender and loving to me. The elements of skin, hair and the sense of touch appear throughout my art. That is probably why I grow my hair very long and take care of my skin with natural ingredients, to feel more whole.
I feel blessed with my unique mix of interests, raw food, beauty and art, which allow me to travel, to be creative and to meet interesting like-minded people. It is such a pleasure to talk about delicious and nutritious food, lifestyles and art.
I am producing courses on what I am passionate about and love to share. I hope it is as fulfilling to you as it is fulfilling to me!
