Developed in ancient India thousands of years ago, Ayurveda is one of the world’s most sophisticated and powerful mind-body healing systems, offering timeless wisdom and practical tools for creating radiant health, daily balance, and expanded joy.

In this Discovering Ayurveda course, Deepak Chopra, M.D., F.A.C.P. a world-renowned pioneer in the field of mind-body medicine, will guide you in the foundations of Ayurveda and its personalized approach to vibrant health and well-being. Ayurveda teaches that all health-related measures – whether an exercise program, nutritional plan or herbal supplement – need to be based on an understanding of your unique constitutional type, known as your dosha. In this course, you will discover what your own dosha is and explore many core Ayurvedic practices for restoring and maintaining balance.

The Discovering Ayurveda course includes:

  • An expanded Ayurvedic Dosha Quiz to identify your constitutional type, or dosha, which is your body’s unique blueprint for health and well-being

  • Video lectures with Dr. Deepak Chopra, guiding you in the key principles and tools of Ayurvedic medicine

  • An Ayurvedic assessment to help you understand your current state of well-being and identify any imbalances so that you can take steps to restore your natural state of balance and health

  • Personalized nutrition and exercise recommendations for your dosha type

  • Simple techniques to balance your mind and body using the five senses

  • Guidance in how to use food as medicine

About Amanda Ringnalda

Manifesting Your Best Life Course Guide

Amanda Ringnalda is a Vedic educator at the Chopra Center for Wellbeing in Carlsbad, California, and serves as a host for many of the Center’s large live events. She has studied closely under Chopra Center co-founders, Dr. Deepak Chopra and Dr. David Simon, and gleaned wisdom from many other luminaries. She has completed three Chopra Center teaching certifications (Primordial Sound Meditation, Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga, and Perfect Health: Ayurvedic Lifestyle). She has also completed both the 200- and 500-hour yoga teacher certifications from the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers.

Amanda’s first yoga class in 1996 inspired her with a deep recognition of these timeless teachings and a desire to spend the rest of her life practicing and sharing them in order to help others find what she had found—a truly peaceful and love-filled life. Another way she expresses that intention of purpose is in her leadership role as the Chopra Center’s vice president of Client Services and Operations.
