Welcome to the illustrator design course - Creating a logo
In this course we will be covering all the tools and techniques to build a logo from scratch, from a simple sketch, colouring it up using photoshop and Illustrator.
This couse will be targetting beginners to Illustrator but advanced users might find it of help as well.
We will be showing you some basic tools within illustrator that we willl be using and then jumping straight into sketching, colouring and finally drawing it all out within illustrator.

It is very important at the early stages to understand the clients brief, make sure you ask the clients everything you are unsure of, it will save lots of time later!
In this video we will quickly look at how we can sketch out our ideas and send for first approval to client.

In this lesson we are going to show you how to colour your black and white sketch within Photoshop.
Our first delve into Illustrator, in this lesson we will show you a method for quickly colouring up your initial sketches.

A good place to start in Illustrator is with background elements and then work forward, so we will beigin with these elements.
We will spend a little time gettting these elements looking good, covering new techniques and best practices for Logo Design in Illustrator.
In this lesson we will look at adding text and also applying text along a path generated from another element.

In this lesson we will do a colour conversion within Illustrator and show you how to access libraries of colours
For this final lesson of the Logo design course we will look at adding Illustrator special effects to our logo, and finally save an RGB and CMYK version.
