Kellie Chasse will go over all the materials needed to complete your dragonfly alcohol ink course. Please feel free to ask any questions about supplies in the course. Alcohol Inks are a Dye and were meant for Crafts not fine art; they are NOT lightfast, therefore UV Rays and Direct sunlight may fade colors.
We will begin by prepping our paper and work space to begin our alcohol painting of the dragonfly.
Ready to begin painting the background.
Time to bring our dragonfly to life on our alcohol ink yupo paper.
Now we can do some more work on our dragonfly.
We really start having some fun now. Perfect area to add your own flare if you wish.
I will show you how to make some changes and being more creative with your dragonfly. Alcohol inks give us a lot of flexibility in our art projects.
Time for the final details and we are done.
We will not do a Damselfly. Refer back to the video that shows you how to setup your paper if you need to before we start this next alcohol ink project.
We will now paint our Damselfly.
Painting a second Damselfly into our alcohol ink painting. You can paint as many into your piece or art as you want and use the colors you love.
Learn about a few different display options for your Alcohol Ink Tiles.
Sealing your inks is important for longer life of your art. I will go over how I seal my own art to protect them for many years of viewing.
In this section I show how to professionally frame a watercolor painting. You can do the same process with your Alcohol Ink paintings once they have been sealed. Just make sure your painting does not touch the glass, usually your mat will be deep enough to keep the painting from touching the glass.
Thank you for taking this course, it would mean the WORLD to me if you would consider leaving a 5 star review.

Here are some recent reviews from ART STUDENTS:
★★★★★ "EASY TO FOLLOW"
I have been a Bob Ross certified instructor for 26 years and I have taught in various venues. Kelly is very clear in her instructions and she makes it easy to follow what she is doing. The class is simple enough for beginners and yet she gives the student plenty of room for creating a little on their own. The instruction on the supplies was also clear and easy to follow.
"I enjoyed doing this this painting. I am new to watercolor. Was able to follow, having to go back occasionally. Will probably do this painting several times just for the practice. I contacted the Kellie Chasse sight because of interest in alcohol oil painting. So will be an active student for awhile to come. Thank you for a great beginning!!"
★★★★★ "BIG HELP"
"Because everything was explained so simply, and Kellie's painting in real time was a very big help. I intend to take more of her courses in the future."
