In this lecture we'll add a bassline to the chorus. We'll discuss browsing instruments using the library and also how to make your bassline complement your lead line so that they do not conflict with one another.

Sidechain compression is the technique of using a compressor on an instrument with another audio input triggering the gain reduction. We'll use a kick drum pattern from Ultrabeat as the sidechain input and place some compression on the bass track and the lead track.
