Description

John and Jeremy founded Three Monkeys School of Qigong in 2013 to offer retreat work and teacher training in Zhineng Qigong. They work closely with a number of centres in China and regularly host visiting Chinese teachers. They believe in bringing the eastern wisdom of Qigong to a western audience in a way that is accessible, safe and effective.

Zhineng Qigong is a system of mindful movement that is best known for its use at Huaxia Centre in China (also known as the Medicineless Hospital). As demonstrated time and again at this centre, the system has huge potential for Healing, Self Cultivation and Personal Growth.

The Body Mind Form covered in this course is described as level 2 practice. It is a more physically challenging form than the Level 1 practice, Lift Qi Up, Pour Qi Down which we covered in another Udemy course.

This course, which includes written documentation, is designed to introduce you to Body Mind and enable you to practice individual sections in isolation or as a complete set (using the full practice sets that are included). We cover

  • The basics of the practice,

  • Ways to adapt the practice to your own physical abilities

  • How to get more from the practice

If you want to go more deeply into the form, we would advise you to seek out a teacher who really understands the form and can work with you to explore the deeper levels of this transformative practice.

Who this course is for:

  • Anyone with an interest in Qigong
  • For older people, this method can be particularly helpful in regaining, or maintaining you mobility
  • If you already have good mobility, this method increases awareness of the body and helps all the internal systems to work well together.
