How To Create, Maintain, and Monetize a YouTube Channel

There are  many ways to earn money from your YouTube channel. We will discuss 5 of them - A Digital Product, Affiliation, Sponsorship, Ad Revenue, and Patreon

A digital product is the most effective  way to monetize your YouTube channel. If you have a $20 monthly recurring product, you can earn college degree income from a few  thousand subscribers.

Sponsorship is when you are  paid to make videos about a particular  subject or paid to talk about a particular  product in your videos.

Affiliate links give you a "commision" % of every sign up through your link. Affiliate payments usually vary from 5%-25%

Once you can monetize your YouTube channel, you will receive money from ads that YouTube places on your videos. This is not a major source  of  income for most YouTubers as ad revenue  is generally quite small compared to other revenue on YouTube.

You can create a patreon which will allow your audience to send you support every month

Scheduling content is one of the BEST habits you can have  as  a YouTuber. Pick a time of day, and every time you upload a video, make sure to schedule the video to be published at  that time.

Playlists enable you to share multiple videos with one link. Every video you make should be in at least 1 playlist.

Social Media enables you to grow your YouTube audience faster than YouTube alone. Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest are FANTASTIC ways to promote your YouTube channel.

Good Lighting is consistent, and a little bright. A good trick to determine lighting is to look at people's eyes - you should be able to see the color  of their eyes. If you see shadows in their eye sockets, that means that the lighting situation is  not ideal. The easiest  way to get perfect lighting is to record a video outside in the daytime when it is cloudy and there  is no direct sunlight.

This is the best  way to record videos about computer content. People like this format allot because  your face is there and they can hear you while there is also stuff going on in the computer screen. 

This is a basic recording form that works well for software and other tutorials on a computer. It is always better to include a face but many people do not show their faces on YouTube. I believe  that  this is a major mistake in most situations

Fixed Camera recording provides  the highest quality video. However, it can be hard  to capture scenes and views  and  non conversation videos without moving the camera. 

Mobile Camera recording provides lower quality of video, but it is often easier to talk while you are moving. Some viewers prefer constantly changing scenery because it gives them something to look at aside  from your face.

You can easily increase or decrease the play speed  of your videos

If audio conditions are not ideal, you can edit  your audio digitally to make it sound better  and eliminate wind and other background noise.

Changing the color schemes of your videos is a very easy way to make them "pop" and look more unique

Once you have  finished your edits, you need to export the video. Filmora will "build" your video and output the finished file to the default video location.
