I have been a sound designer and music production hobbyist for over eight years now! I love anything computer music production, and have worked in a wide range of DAW environments including Ableton Live 8, 9, and 10, Presonus Studio One 2 and 3, FL Studio 11 and 12, Apple Logic X, Cakewalk's Sonar, and Steinberg Cubase. I am also proficient in a wide variety of software synth plugins including Native Instruments Massive/FM8/Razor/Monark/Absynth, Xfer Records Serum, Rob Papen's Blue/Predator 1&2, Linplug's Spectral/Albino, Spectrasonics Omnisphere, Image Line's Harmor/Sytrus, and many others.
Despite my experience producing in many major DAW platforms, I am intently drawn to sound design. I started designing sounds at about twelve years of age in my first ever DAW platform: Apple's Garageband(for those that don't know, you can actually design synth patches in it). After that, I moved onto FL Studio where I got introduced to the idea of the Virtual Synth Instrument(VST) plugin, and started experimenting with many different kinds of synths I didn't even know existed. Different DAWs offered different sound design opportunities, and so I found myself moving from one to another, learning how not only sculpt sounds, but also fundamentals of music production such as arrangement, mixing, and mastering.
I hope to get the opportunity to share with others what I have learned, and what I continue to learn, so they may enjoy as much fulfillment and pride as I have in my work!!!
