Description

Does money feel like a source of constant anxiety — never quite enough, never quite secure, never quite aligned with what you actually value?

This course on Financial Wellness goes beyond budgeting tips and investment basics to explore your complete relationship with money — your awareness, your knowledge, your behaviour, and ultimately your satisfaction with your financial life. It covers four core pillars — Awareness, Literacy, Behaviour, and Satisfaction — giving you a holistic framework for building financial well-being from the inside out.

The course opens with an introduction to the Unmesa gateway of Conscious Prosperity, rooted in the Indic concepts of Artha (the means of life — wealth as a legitimate and important dimension of well-being) and Lābha–tyāga (gain and detachment — the balance between pursuing prosperity and not being enslaved by it). Aligned with the Unmesa stages of Samatva (Alignment) and Vikāsa (Expansion), this gateway reframes money as energy — and wealth as something that should reflect both your value and your values.

What this course covers:

Awareness — Developing emotional awareness around money, building practical financial awareness, and benchmarking your financial situation honestly

Literacy — The fundamentals of budgeting, saving, and managing debt; understanding investment and insurance; and planning for retirement and legacy

Behaviour — Exploring how head (rational thinking), heart (emotional drivers), and balance (integrating both) shape your financial decisions

Satisfaction — Examining the choices that lead to financial contentment, the inner beliefs that drive financial behaviour, and how financial decisions ripple into life outcomes

What you'll learn:

  • How to understand your emotional and practical relationship with money

  • The core building blocks of financial literacy — budgeting, saving, investment, insurance

  • How your beliefs and emotions drive financial behaviour — often unconsciously

  • What financial satisfaction looks and feels like — beyond just accumulating wealth

  • How financial wellness connects to your emotional, occupational, and spiritual well-being

The course closes with an Unmesa Reflection Journal — a guided inquiry into your beliefs about money and abundance, where tension and guilt arise around finances, and what conscious prosperity might mean for your future.

This course is for you if:

  • Money is a significant source of stress or anxiety in your life

  • You feel financially uncertain, unprepared, or out of control

  • You want to understand not just what to do with money, but why you relate to it the way you do

  • You're looking for a mindful, values-driven approach to financial well-being

Ideally taken after the Foundation Course — Introduction to the 8 Dimensions of Wellness.

Who this course is for:

  • Individuals who feel that an inability to manage their finances is a major contributor to their stress and anxiety, and want to better understand the fundamentals of what can help them deal with and maintain a balance in their emotional state.
