Do you find yourself pushing through fatigue, ignoring your body's signals, or lurching between health kicks and burnout — never quite finding a sustainable rhythm?
This course on Physical Wellness moves beyond gym routines and diet plans to address the full, practical landscape of physical health. It covers four core pillars — Pre-Emptive, Proactive, Restraint, and Habitual — giving you a comprehensive framework for building and sustaining a healthy body across all the dimensions that actually matter.
The course opens with an introduction to the Unmesa gateway of Embodied Presence, rooted in the Indic concepts of Sharira-bodha (body-awareness) and Ārogya (wholeness of health). Aligned with the Unmesa stage of Samatva (Alignment), this gateway invites you to move from treating the body as a tool to experiencing it as a sacred vehicle of balance and presence.
What this course covers:
Pre-Emptive — Taking proactive steps before illness strikes: regular health check-ups, understanding medical insurance, and developing ergonomic habits in daily life
Proactive — The foundations of physical vitality: building an exercise routine, understanding nutrition, and managing weight in a sustainable, healthy way
Restraint — Understanding the role of conscious restraint in physical wellness: tobacco, alcohol, and dietary choices around fat and cholesterol
Habitual — The daily practices that sustain physical health over time: maintaining a consistent schedule, getting adequate sleep, and the discipline of healthy routines
What you'll learn:
How to take a pre-emptive, proactive approach to your physical health
The connection between exercise, nutrition, and overall well-being
How sleep, daily schedules, and consistent habits underpin physical vitality
Why restraint — not deprivation — is a key pillar of sustainable health
How physical wellness connects to and supports every other dimension of your well-being
The course closes with an Unmesa Reflection Journal — a body-awareness practice that invites you to reconnect with your physical self, reframe what health means to you, and explore what it feels like to be truly at home in your body.
This course is for you if:
You feel physically depleted, sluggish, or disconnected from your body
You've tried fitness and diet programmes but haven't found lasting change
You want a holistic, structured approach to physical health beyond the gym
You're ready to build sustainable habits rather than chase short-term results
Ideally taken after the Foundation Course — Introduction to the 8 Dimensions of Wellness.
