Description

Do you feel stretched thin — managing work, relationships, health, and finances — but never quite finding balance? You're not lacking willpower or discipline. You may simply be missing the map.

This Foundation Course introduces you to the 8 Dimensions of Wellness — a research-backed, holistic framework that helps you understand why true well-being goes far beyond physical health. Whether you're dealing with stress, burnout, emotional fatigue, or a quiet sense of disconnection, this course gives you a complete picture of what wellness actually looks like — and where your gaps might be.

The course opens with an introduction to the Unmesa framework — drawing on the symbolism of Shiva's Third Eye as a metaphor for inner awakening and discernment. Unmesa means "a gentle unfolding" — and through its four stages of Prabodha (Awakening), Samatva (Alignment), Vikāsa (Expansion), and Pūrṇatā (Flourishing), you'll see how wellness is not an achievement but a return to what you already are.

What this course covers:

You'll explore all eight dimensions of wellness and understand how they interconnect:

  • Emotional — recognising and working with your emotional patterns

  • Physical — moving beyond fitness into embodied health

  • Social — the quality of your relationships and sense of belonging

  • Occupational — finding meaning, balance, and motivation in your work

  • Financial — your awareness, literacy, and relationship with money

  • Environmental — the spaces you inhabit and how they shape your well-being

  • Intellectual — curiosity, learning, and creative engagement

  • Spiritual — your connection to something greater than yourself

What you'll learn:

  • What the 8 Dimensions of Wellness are and how they interact

  • How imbalance in one dimension quietly undermines the others

  • How to assess your own wellness across all eight areas

  • The Unmesa framework and its four stages of personal growth

  • How to use this Foundation as the launchpad for your deeper wellness journey

The course closes with an Unmesa Reflection Journal — a guided self-inquiry tool that invites you to map your inner landscape across all eight gateways and set a meaningful intention for the journey ahead.

This course is for you if:

  • You feel stressed, overwhelmed, or out of balance — but can't pinpoint why

  • You're curious about holistic well-being beyond diet and exercise

  • You want a structured, thoughtful starting point for your wellness journey

  • You're drawn to approaches that blend science, story, and Indic wisdom

This is the recommended starting point for the complete Unmesa series. Each of the 8 individual dimension courses builds on what you learn here.

Who this course is for:

  • Individuals who wish to find about more about the 8 dimensions of wellness and how to manage these to have a better control over their stress and anxiety.
