From our emotional states to our career satisfaction, from our financial habits to our sense of purpose, everything is connected. These interconnections form what we call the 8 Dimensions of Wellness: Emotional, Physical, Social, Occupational, Financial, Environmental, Intellectual, and Spiritual.
This Foundation Course is your starting point.
It doesn’t rush to fix you. It doesn’t tell you what to do. Instead, it invites you to pause, observe, and explore:
What does wellness mean to you?
Where are you thriving?
Where might there be an imbalance?
And how do these dimensions shape the life you live every day?
Rooted in the Unmesa philosophy of unfolding inner clarity, this course isn’t about achieving wellness overnight.
It’s about awareness — the quiet noticing of how your thoughts, choices, environments, and emotions are shaping your life.
By the end of this course, you will not only gain a deep conceptual understanding of the 8 dimensions, but also complete a basic self-assessment that gives you a personal snapshot of where you currently stand.
This course is a precursor to the other Unmesa Courses, and lays the foundation for a more intentional, connected, and meaningful wellness journey.

Welcome to the Wellness Seekers Academy, a space for reflection, reconnection, and holistic well-being.
Founded in 2017, our mission is to help individuals take a deeply integrative approach to wellness — one that honours not just health, but wholeness. We invite learners to reconnect with themselves, their relationships, their vocations, and their inner stillness through curated learning experiences that blend science, story, and Indic wisdom.
The Academy was conceptualised by Ajay Mahajan and Sadhana Rao, who bring over 60 years of combined experience in global organisations and nearly two decades of work in the development sector. Having witnessed the rising toll of modern work-life imbalances, growing social disconnection, and emotional fatigue — they envisioned a space where wellness is not fragmented, but lived as a connected, conscious path.
Our offerings are now unified under the framework of Unmeṣa — a transformative journey of awakening that draws from the 8 Dimensions of Wellness and is rooted in timeless Indic principles like ātma-jñāna, viveka, pṛthvī-tattva, and samatva. Unmeṣa means a gentle unfolding — and that’s the spirit we carry in all our courses.
