I studied Sociology and Psychology at the London school of Economics and also have postgraduate degree in teaching from Homerton College at Cambridge University.
I THEN I taught locally in a primary school for almost a decade before having our son. I then wrote my first short picture story book called Sweet Dreams about a little girl called Poppy, who is helped by her Grandad, with her nightmares, as he helps her change them into magical adventures. I made workshops based on my book and travelled to schools, especially during World book days delivering them.
I then joined Chelsea Young Writers and taught creative writing in schools in central London, before leaving to have our daughter and write the follow up to Sweet dreams, called In your wildest dreams. Now in lockdown I have been enjoying family time and the opportunity to do things we don’t get the time to normally do.. I am writing more than normal. I am currently working on finishing a chapter book for children. Whilst doing so, I have also written this course for writing your own chapter book for children.
