Exercises - 10min to 1hour a day depending on how deep you are willing to go
Practice - Based on what you want to experience differently in your life, you'll test new habits and new ways of being in old situations that still exist in your life.
This program will take you through 5 stages.
Reflect: Identify where you are on your life journey & how you feel about different aspects of your life. Learn how to move through emotions and create more harmony within yourself.
Process: Learn how to move through emotions and create more harmony within yourself regardless of the challenges that may arise.
Trust: Build a deep trust in yourself by practicing intuitive decision making and living in aligned action.
Evolve: Map out how your can do and be more of what your authentic self knows is good for your evolution.
Celebrate: Acknowledge your deeper self-awareness, and the steps you take whether large or small.
Day 1: First arena in your life to Reflect on - WORK
Exercise: 3min to write a paragraph about your work life, problem and question you want answered. (See assessment section for guidance)
Day 2: Second arena in your life to Reflect on - LOVE
Exercise: 3min to write a paragraph about your love life, problem and question you want answered. (See assessment section for guidance)
Day 3: Third arena in your life to Reflect on - ENERGY
Exercise: 3min to write a paragraph about your work life, problem and question you want answered. (See assessment section for guidance)
Day 4: What underpins why we make choices that don't serve us? Our emotions. From now on, make a commitment to learn more about yourself from them rather than avoid them. Acceptance, is the starting point.
Ask yourself how full or NOT your fuel tank is in arenas of WORK, LOVE and ENERGY. (Give yourself 3 seconds to feel)
What are your dysfunctional beliefs behind your problems? Reframe them to serve you. Remember your problems are you teachers, they indicate that something needs to change and transform within you. They tell us want we don't want in our lives and present us with a possibility to evolve by making better choices. So then, can it be that problems, obstacles and challenges are detours in the right direction? Shift your perspective so you can allow creative solutions to enter your life.
Expressing negative emotions has been viewed as "weak" by many with the popularizing of "toughen up" culture movements that emerged due to the rise in capitalistic collective dynamics that painted the picture that if we let our emotions have the best of us, we would not make it to the top. As a result, blocking our emotions has become something expected of us. However, emotions are energy, they are there whether we acknowledge them or not, thus have to be stored if they are not processed. Hence stuck emotions get stored in our minds, hearts and bodies and if not processed turn into depression, aliments, chronic disease and/or us leading unfulfilling lives.
This week you are asked to design a protocol that works for you. After allowing yourself to feel (Part 1,) what can help you get unstuck (Part 2) from negative emotions that linger and keep you trapped in your monkey mind, painting scenarios of doom & gloom instead of solutions to help you heal & evolve?
As you get better at building a deep relationship with yourself, you'll realize why the old saying "follow your heart" is the only way to stay true to who you are.
