  • Website Niche Selection18:42

Now, this is really important. Finding a perfect niche is always an important task that you have to perform before taking any domain. Here are a few points that can be taken care of if you are looking for a good niche selection to kickstart your blogging.

    1. Look at your hobbies and skillset –

      • What do you do?

      • What do you want to do?

      • What gives you hope?

      • What are your skills?

      • Your Qualifications

      • Your background

      • Your current mindset

    2. Upcoming and On-going trend in the market i.e Online World

      • What is going on around you?

      • What may come in the near future?

    3. How much can you invest?

      • Whether you want to build up a team

      • Work solely

    4. Low Competition and Average Search Volume keyword – This will help you to find out “keywords” that can be ranked easily

    5. Micro Niche or Broad Niche

      • Micro Niche Example – Dell laptops, Realme Phones, Adidas Shoes, Jio coupons, Siteground Affiliate

      • Broad Niche Example – News, Digital Marketing, Make Money Online, Affiliate Marketing

Quickly ask the answers to these question –

      1. Is this niche profitable?

      2. How much I know about this niche?

      3. Is there any investment required?

      4. Am I ready to invest?

      5. From where I will get the contents?

      6. Do I have to be dependent on getting regular content?

      7. What if I fail in this niche?

    Identify problems you can solve.

With your list of topics in hand, you’re ready to start narrowing down your options. To create a profitable business, you first need to find problems your target customers are experiencing, then determine whether you can actually solve them.

Niche wise problems finding and solving them is also important for sustainable growth.

    Research your competition.

The presence of competition isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It may actually be showing you that you’ve found a profitable niche. But you do need to do a thorough analysis of competing sites. Create a new spreadsheet and start logging all of the competing sites you can find.

Then figure out whether there’s still an opportunity to stand out in the crowd. Can you still rank for your keywords? Is there a way to differentiate yourself and create a unique offer?

Here are several signs that you can enter a niche and be successful, even if there are already other sites serving it:

    • Low-quality content. It’s easy to outrank your competition in a niche where other business owners are not creating high-quality, detailed content that serves the audience.

    • Lack of transparency. Many online entrepreneurs have disrupted entire industries by creating an authentic and transparent presence in a niche where other sites are faceless and overly corporate.

    • Lack of paid competition. If you’ve found a keyword that has relatively high search volume, but little competition and paid advertising, an opportunity definitely exists for you to upset the market.

I hope all of the above speculations and analysis will help you to find a good niche.

Here is a list of topics to choose from –

    1. Banking and Finance

    2. Trading

    3. Investing

    4. Health and Fitness

    5. Gadgets

    6. Cooking or Recipes

    7. Digital Marketing Topics

    8. Government Schemes

  • Best Domain Selection + Domain Extensions19:34

Here are the few things that can be taken care of while choosing a domain name –

    1. Make it brandable

    2. Make it pronounceable and easy to remember

    3. Keep it Short – Short domain is always better

    4. Be Biased towards .com or go for right domain name extension according to your business like for education site .edu, for organizations .org, or for government website .gov

    5. Avoid trademark infringement – like one of my friend bought amazoncoupons.com and other one bought paytmoffers.com

    6. Make it intuitive – Just a look at the name and you will get to know what they do and what it all about like pastamaker.com

    7. Try to use broad keywords – Keywords in a domain name can help with the cognitive fluency biases, but also from an SEO perspective. Google has been biasing away from these exact match and partial match domains, but the anchor text you get from people linking to your domain can help.

    8. It’s okay to append or modify it – If your domain name is not available, it’s okay to go out and add a suffix or a prefix. It is okay to use an alternate TLD extension

    9. Avoid Hyphens and Numbers – Sometimes it doesn’t matter as you have seen in movies website like world4ufree.com

    10. Think long terms over the short term – Are you ready to marry your domain? You should be because it will be one of the biggest elements that define your business and brand for years. If you decide to change the domain in the future, it will cost you money, branding, and SEO rankings. In short – it’s a huge pain!

But wait, why is your domain name so important?

    1. It’s your “first impression”. Your URL is the first thing your visitors will see. A good domain name can make a positive and lasting impression, while a bad domain name can send visitors running.

    2. It affects SEO. While exact match domains (EMDs) are no longer a necessity, keywords in your domain name can still help your SEO ranking.

    3. It defines your brand. We’ll talk about this in a minute – your domain name is a branding opportunity! The right domain name can increase brand recognition.

Where Should You Register Your Domain Name?

If you don’t know where to register your domain name. We have listed some good websites from there you can get free hosting with the server.

    1. Resellerclub

    2. Bluehost

    3. Interserver

    4. Godaddy

    5. Namecheap

  • Server Types: VPS, Reseller, Cloud, Dedicated and Selection22:08

    Shared Hosting

Shared hosting is the most popular option for people building their first website.

When you sign up for shared hosting, the hosting company will put your website on a server along with hundreds, if not thousands, of other websites. This means each customer has to share space and resources on the server with every other customer, including CPU time, memory, and disk space.

Think of shared hosting like living in an apartment building. All of the residents share the same building, but share things like elevators and stairwells, car parking, and garbage collection.

Shared hosting is the cheapest and most economical option as far as hosting goes. However, you get what you pay for – in this case, shared hosting comes with strict limitations.

    Shared Hosting Pros

    • It’s cheap. Some hosting companies charge as little as $3.95 a month.

    • It’s beginner-friendly. It’s easy to get started with shared hosting compared to other hosting options.

    • Security, upgrades, and maintenance of the server are managed for you.

    Shared Hosting Cons

    • It can be slow. With so many other websites running on the same server, your page load times may suffer.

    • Security isn’t guaranteed. You don’t know who else is using the same server, so if one site has a memory leak or is hacked, your site could be affected.

    • Lack of server control and performance. If the server is overcrowded or if another website takes up more than their share of resources, performance can drop.

    • It’s difficult to scale due to limited storage and bandwidth

VPS Servers – Virtual Private Servers

VPS is similar to shared hosting in that your website shares a server with other sites, but there are fewer sites sharing space and resources and the server is partitioned out into different virtualized server environments. Unlike shared hosting, VPS usually provides baseline resources that you’re guaranteed, as well as additional resources available at a moment’s notice should your site experience a traffic spike.

Think of VPS like living in a condo. While you still share the same building as other residents, you are responsible for the maintenance of your property and any repairs that need to be carried out inside your condo. Plus, there are fewer residents and you get your own allocated car parking space.

    VPS Pros

    • More affordable than a dedicated server and you pay for what you need.

    • More secure. In order to segment the server properly, the host installs a layer of software that dedicates part of the server to you, which makes is completely separate from other customers.

    • It’s fast. You are allocated more resources compared to shared hosting.

    • Root server access. You can make customizations to suit your needs and you have greater control over your hosting environment.

    • It’s scalable. A VPS can grow with your site as your server needs to increase over time.

    VPS Cons

    • Some server companies oversell their servers, hoping that every site currently using a particular server won’t have a peak traffic day.

    • More expensive than shared hosting.

    • If you choose an unmanaged VPS, it may be difficult to configure, taking longer to get your website up and running.

    Dedicated Hosting

A dedicated server is exactly like it sounds: Your website is stored on a single physical server dedicated to your own personal use. You don’t share the server with anyone, you have full rights to the resources of the server, and you can configure the hosting environments to your exact specifications.

This type of hosting is generally more expensive, but in return, you get very high performance and a higher level of security compared to other forms of hosting.

Think of dedicated hosting like owning your own house. You are the only resident (other than your family, if you have one in this scenario!). You can park your car in your own driveway and paint your house whatever color you like. But you are ultimately responsible for maintaining your property and it’s up to you to install a security alarm to scare off burglars.

    Pros

    • You have a dedicated server all to yourself.

    • You have full access to all settings and can completely customize the server to suit your website’s needs.

    • It’s fast. You get 100% access to server resources.

    • Great server performance since you can tailor the server to meet the exact specifications you need for your site.

    • It’s secure. Since you’re the only one using the server, you don’t have to worry about the “bad neighbor” effect that’s common with sharing hosting.

    • 24/7 support. Since you’re paying a lot of money for your account, web hosting companies will make providing you with the best support a priority.

    Cons

    • It’s expensive.

    • You need skilled technical staff to maintain and optimize the server. You’re responsible for your server so if something goes wrong it’s up to you to fix it.

    Cloud Hosting

Cloud hosting is based on the concept of cloud computing technologies that allow an unlimited number of machines to act as one system. So instead of a website being hosting on a single server, it’s hosted on a virtual partition of a server and draws its resources from a network of existing servers. This allows multiple servers to work together to handle high traffic levels or spikes for any particular website – yes, you have to share resources with other users, similar to VPS, but because there are more servers involved, there are more resources available to everyone.

Cloud hosting is extremely reliable because it draws its resources from multiple different servers – if one server goes down, the other servers fill the gap. Also, cloud hosting is flexible and scalable, so it can grow with your website – if your site needs more resources, just add them.

Think of cloud hosting like renting a room using Airbnb. You share the house with the owner and other guests – if there are any other guests at all– and when you’re ready to move on you can stay at another home listed on Airbnb.

    Pros

    • It’s reliable. Unlike other types of hosting that rely on physical hardware, cloud hosting takes place in data centers made up of hundreds of servers with multiple redundancies that protect against failures.

    • Scalability and flexibility. If you suddenly need greater resources, cloud hosting can be easily scaled to meet your needs and you aren’t limited to the physical constraints of a single server.

    • Cost-efficient. You only pay for the resources you use.

    Cons

    • I need advanced knowledge. Cloud hosting isn’t an easy solution to set up and start using right away, even for developers.

    • Insecure. Or is it? You’re sharing resources with other websites. Overall, this point is arguable.

What is the difference between managed vs. unmanaged (Self Managed) VPS? And how do I determine which is best for me?

Unmanaged VPS (also known as “Self-Managed VPS”) tends to require an advanced degree of technical know-how and a basic understanding of Linux and the command line. Unmanaged VPS hosting plans allow you to configure and update VPS hosting to your exact preference.

But, if you prefer to have an expert manage your hosting and the tech stuff (freeing up more time for you to focus on your business), then Fully-Managed VPS Hosting might be the right choice to fulfil your hosting needs.

Does VPS require a lot of technical knowledge?

Yes, VPS hosting is best suited for web developers and system administrators that have the technical knowledge to manage a server. VPS offers more power and flexibility than standard shared hosting, and with it comes more server management complexity. But for those looking for the power of VPS — and the simplicity of a standard cPanel experience to manage their sites — we recommend GoDaddy Business Hosting.

Are backups included in VPS hosting plans?

Yes. All VPS hosting includes automated weekly snapshots so you can schedule backup time – or create a backup on demand.

What are the real advantages of using VPS hosting?

VPS hosting gives you high performance with an isolated environment where the CPU, RAM, and storage is 100% dedicated and not shared with any other websites or apps. That, compared to shared hosting, results in higher performance and security along with more flexibility and control over the server.

VPS hosting also offers higher resources and bandwidth/traffic than shared hosting, which means faster load times and unlimited traffic. A VPS allows the admin more control over security hardening and is less vulnerable to hackers in comparison to shared hosting. With shared hosting, if a site gets hacked there’s a greater chance that other websites on the server will also be compromised. Conversely, due to virtual isolation, a hacked VPS on the same hardware, won’t affect surrounding VPS environments.

And with root access, there are no restrictions on the applications you install; you can access and edit the system files, settings, and server logins.

Where Should You Register Your Domain Name?

If you don’t know where to register your domain name. We have listed some good websites from there you can get free hosting with the server.

    1. Siteground

    2. Resellerclub

    3. Bluehost
