Study references to shape a Wolverine face, import from our photos, and sculpt angular cheekbones, a pointed nose, and a strong jaw using move, drag, flatten, crease, and smooth tools.
Learn to sculpt Wolverine's boots with curved trim, perform voxel remesh on boots and shoes, and refine musculature and symmetry for a cohesive Nomad Sculpt workflow.
Refine the Wolverine nomad sculpt through smoothing, gap filling, creases and veins, and belt detailing using voxel remesh and dynamic topology.
Master belt buckle detailing for Wolverine's belt, including duplicating buckles, inlaying with boolean and voxel remesh, and adding wrinkles to suggest fabric and the X-Men symbol.
Master lighting and coloring workflows in nomad sculpt, from environment, key lights to post-process and ambient occlusion. Paint base colors, add detail layers, adjust roughness, and refine metallics.
Master manual ambient occlusion in Nomad Sculpt by darkening creases and shadows with painting, and compare smooth versus smudge while using dynamic topology.
Welcome to my advanced 3D course in Nomad Sculpt!
Nomad Sculpt is a 3D application available for Ipad (ios) and Android Tablets only at this point!
In this course you'll learn to sculpt X-Men's Wolverine from the ground up. I'll be covering why I make certain artistic decisions as we move towards creating his body, attitude and dynamic pose. I try to include every aspect of my art process in this tutorial, so you'll have a full understanding of thought process throughout, including having to fix mistakes and troubleshoot along the way. This isn’t just a technical 3D course, it’s a complete art class.
We’ll block everything out from primitives as usual, and continue to build up his muscular frame
We’ll use hierarchy to pose him
Create his iconic mask and adamantium claws,
We’ll paint his yellow and blue suit and utilize dynamic topology to really get clean crisp lines
And of course i’ll go through every little detail, and use creative license as well. As should you
After this class you’ll be able to create any X-men or other character you want. You can 3D print your Nomad sculpts too! You can also export from Nomad to other applications like Blender for more advanced lighting and materials.
If you’re ready to learn, i’m looking forward to showing you everything I know.
Keep drawing, keep sculpting, and I look forward to seeing you in class!
