Description
Welcome to Winter Wonderland Step Card Class!
In this class you will learn how to cut, score and fold a Flat piece of paper to create a 3 Dimensional pop-up card! The BEST part is that the card easily folds flat and fits into a standard 5" x 7" Envelope to mail to special recipients.
Each part of the card class is segmented into smaller pieces to make it easy to follow along. I use a Big Shot cutting machine and different dies to create the pieces to create the card. You could also use SVG files and a cricut machine to create a similar looking card or find free clip art and hand cut your pieces.
This class Comes with a Supply list that is linked to all the supplies used to create the Card sample. Each supply on the list is linked to where you could purchase the supplies to save you time sourcing your supplies. You will find the link to the supply list with the Class Introduction Video.
The Card created in this class has a winter theme. This base can be used with any combination of stamps or dies to create amazing 3 dimensional cards for any occasion!
In this class you will learn:
1 - How to cut and score a flat sheet of cardstock to create the step card base. Once you know and understand how this base works you can alter the measurements to create different versions of this card.
2 - How to fold the cardstock after it is cut and scored to create the card base.
3 - How to add different elements to each section of the card base to create a scene.
4 - How to die cut and assemble the different layers from those die cuts.
5 - how to ink the edges of die cuts to create extra dimension.
6 - How to add a simple final touch to your card to add a bit of sparkle.
Note: When making handmade cards, it is next to impossible to make multiples that are identical. Those unique differences are what make handmade items unique and special....embrace those unique differences!
