Welcome to the Wilderness Survival course. In this course you will learn how to prepare for an outdoor adventure in nature so that you won't find yourself in a survival situation. But if you do find yourself in a such a situation, the information here will help you to survive.
I am a career environmental educator. I have worked for NYS Parks, Buffalo Audubon, Earth Spirit Education and Wild Spirit Education as well as my own venture, The Nature Wanderer. After finding myself lost in the woods during the winter many years ago, I started to learn as much as I could about Wilderness Survival techniques and how to avoid being in such a situation.
I hope you enjoy this course and I also hope you never find yourself in a situation where you have to use it.
Please leave me feedback about what you liked and disliked about the course so that I can continue to improve it.
