Here I overview what you can expect from the course.
What is Moho best used for? In this video we discuss Moho's strengths, such as Smart Bones and it's weaknesses regarding frame-by-frame animation.
Adobe Animate has been around for decades and provides a good middle ground between pure frame by frame animation and bone-like animation. This video covers other aspects of the software, as well.
Character Animator stands out with it's unique ability to control characters with your face and voice. By using a webcam and microphone, you can control blinks, eye movement, lip syncing, head movement and more. With the addition of draggers and other special properties, rigs can be set up for several situations.
In this video I show a quick example of how you can take character animations from Moho, put them into Cinema 4D Lite (included with After Effects), use After Effects for grading and Premiere for trimming footage.
I conclude with my final thoughts.
New to animation? Looking for a new workflow? Before you start investing in courses or software, maybe I can help! This course briefly overviews all the animation software I currently teach: Moho, Animate, After Effects and Character Animator. Which software is the easiest to use? Which provides the best bone system? Or what about frame-by-frame? This course covers these questions and offers resources to learn more, if you wish.
