What is Karma? Karma essentially means that this happened because that happened. In other words, karma is The Universal Law of Cause and Effect. Karma can also be neatly defined through Newton’s third law: “Every action has an equal or opposite reaction.”
Each of us by our soul’s contract has come here to earth many times. Through the incarnations of being born on this earth, dying, and then coming back again, we create energy, which is called karma. Many ancient cultures have believed in the reincarnation of the soul, well known is the Egyptians, as well as the Greeks, those of Hindu and Buddhist faiths. They called this continuing cycle of death and rebirth, Samsara. In this rebirth, a new personality develops but the essential parts are constant throughout these consecutive lives. We develop a new ego each lifetime, as well as a new body.
Also, we must understand that there is an old Karma belief, and a new one. Karma has been thought of in many ways, but it is an old energy system that keeps you learning on the planet. It can also properly be said to be your past life experience that is unfinished business. In this course, I’ll talk a little about what we always believed karma to be, and later, what we now know it to be, and also how you are now able to release it so it is not brought into your next lifetime.
