Description
Hi, I am Jubert Michael Valmores and I am a filmmaker based in the Philippines. I have been making videos, or storytelling as I call it, for 4 years.
What we’re going to learn here is the art of SAME DAY EDIT wedding videography, everything from my gears to organizing files and maximizing time for fast editing. In the first part, I will tell you about my style of storytelling, that is what I call my way of videography, and we will slowly progress to the parts of the wedding until you can develop your own format for your SDE video. Once you have made your own format, you can apply this to your SDE or in any kind of wedding video outputs that you will be making, and with this, it’ll be easier for you to make them. And of course, the main topic in this course is how we do Same Day Edit or what we call SDE. A quick way to edit.
What is the Same Day Edit or SDE?
It is a film that is edited on the same day as the wedding that will be shown at the end of the reception program showing the highlights of the celebration. The usual length of every SDE that I do is 5-8 minutes. Although it may sound difficult, once you will learn the basics of how to tell a story and edit fast, it’ll be easier than you thought it would be.

Hi, I am Jubert Michael Valmores and I am a filmmaker based in the Philippines. I have been making videos, or storytelling as I call it, for 4 years. Now, just a bit of my background, I don't actually have a degree or history in filmmaking before I started doing films. I was raised in a medically inclined family, which led me to study Pharmacy and Optometry, but unfortunately, none of those worked out for me. Because ever since I was young, I have always dreamt to be a filmmaker. During college, I got so frustrated that I was not able to do what I really wanted. So I decided to do filmmaking on the side while studying. To cut the story short, I quit school at the age of 19, because my film business was growing so fast that I had a hard time balancing it with my studies. This led me to make a big decision, to choose between my studies and my filmmaking career. I chose the latter because this is what I really wanted to do for the rest of my life. DISCLAIMER. And here I am now, 4 years later, built a successful wedding film business, brought together my own team, and still creating new and creative ways to tell a story.
