    Hello  & welcome!

In this lecture you will learn...

    • Who I am and how I came to warming up my voice.

    • Why it's important to warm up our voice on a regular basis as actors, performers, voice-over artists and presenters.

    • What the benefits are to you from warming up your voice and taking this course.

    • About the two dynamic warm-ups in this program, how they are different and why they work together to create a powerful, rounded, resonant, rich voice.

  • How to use the warm-ups and make them work for you1:32

In this lecture I explain the importance of warming up your voice on a regular basis and how often that would be depending on your particular circumstances - Are you currently working in the theatre? Are you a presenter? Are you waiting for your next job?

I also run through how and where to practice these warm ups for best results.

  • Set a Goal for Yourself2:54

In this lecture I help you write a personal voice goal for yourself that's inspiring and meaningful to you, and help you get clear about why you are taking this program. I've included a simple downloadable form to help you complete this process. We then set some action steps to help you achieve your goal and finally I encourage you to commit to making your goal a reality and making the warm ups part of your weekly creative workout.

Description

Voice Warm-Ups for Actors, Voice Over Artists & Presenters

Build a free, reliable, resonant voice with a repeatable professional warm-up

Your voice is your instrument.
When it feels tight, tired or unreliable, your performance suffers.

This course gives you a safe, effective and efficient voice warm-up designed specifically for actors, voice over artists and presenters who want to sound grounded, free, resonant and confident every time they speak.

These warm-ups are practical, repeatable and designed to fit into real working lives.

What this course helps you do

  • Release vocal tension and habitual holding

  • Access a fuller, richer vocal range

  • Improve stamina and vocal reliability

  • Feel more connected, present and ready to work

  • Build a professional voice practice you can return to daily

Whether you are stepping on set, into the recording booth, onto stage or into a presentation, this warm-up helps place you in a ready, embodied state.

How the warm-ups are structured

The course is divided into two dynamic warm-ups that work together:

Voice Be Resonant
A structured warm-up that engages focus, precision and coordination to support clarity, resonance and control.

Voice Be Free
A more exploratory warm-up designed to release tension, increase flow and reconnect you to impulse, play and vocal freedom.

Together, these warm-ups help you develop a grounded, authentic and responsive voice, rather than a forced or overly technical one.

Who this course is for

  • Actors working on screen, stage or in rehearsal

  • Voice over artists recording from home or in studios

  • Presenters, speakers and professionals who rely on their voice daily

  • Beginners through to experienced professionals

While this is not specifically a singing warm-up, singers often find the exercises highly beneficial for vocal release, connection and preparation.

What you get

  • Clear video demonstrations of every exercise

  • Downloadable audio versions of each warm-up

  • Full written transcripts for easy reference

  • The ability to work at your own pace, anywhere
from your home studio, rehearsal room or even in the car

These are tools you can return to throughout your entire career.

The result

With regular use, you may notice:

  • Increased vocal confidence

  • Greater ease and consistency

  • A stronger connection to your voice and presence

  • A sense of readiness before you perform or present

This course is designed to become part of your weekly creative and professional practice.

I’m delighted to share this work with you and support your voice.

Wishing you every success,
Leanne Mauro
