Course Overview – Virtualization Fundamentals
In this course you will learn the fundamentals of virtualization and also the types of virtualization available. You will then learn about how Cloud Computing compares to virtualization as well common terminology.
We will then go through what a virtual machine is, several types of hypervisors and VM resources.
We will also go through creating a virtual machine using VMWare Server in a demonstration. Lastly, we will cover the main VMWare solutions for deploying virtual machines.
After the completion of this course, you will have a solid understanding of virtual machines and will be ready to advance to more technical VMWare courses.
