Description
This course has four sections. Each section has a series of videos and learning to help you have the best virtual communications you can.
Section One - Make a difference: this is the basics of virtual communications including how to show up, look good and sound good. Learn the basics of camera placement, eyeline, audio and backgrounds.
Section Two - Be a team player: This section is about how to work with co-workers and use communications basics for leadership. Topics covered will be about how to effectively listen, accept and build on what people say and create win-win situations.
Section Three - Tell me something: This section focusses on practical skills to use the essence of storytelling in a business context. Included in this section are basic story structures for use in emails, in-person or any virtual / electronic medium.
Section Four - Putting it all together: This section is about taking the learning and turning it into practice and habit. Each section has exercises, skills and concepts to practice the learning, and make a new practice.
These skills will help you in whatever capacity you are currently in. They will also help you develop your relationships with your co-workers, and learn how to be an effective leader.

Instructor
Andrew McMasters is an actor, director and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in the arts. He is a founder of Jet City Improv, a non-profit theater that he managed for 25 years. He has worked for multiple Fortune 500 companies including Amazon, Microsoft, GE, Hasbro, Google, Valve, Nike and Apple. His company provides presentation support and messaging as well as team building and communications trainings all over the world.
