Description

This course is a presentation on my Occupational Therapy Doctoral Capstone Project. My project focused on using video modeling with teens with autism spectrum disorder to address life skills and social skills development. In this presentation, I will discuss the needs assessment and critically appraised topic that I completed prior to the start of my Capstone Experience in order to explore the current research on video modeling. I will discuss the key factors of my Capstone Project including the area of focus, the overarching goal, the guiding approach, and site information. I will also discuss the three learning objectives and learning activities of the project, as well as share each of the related artifacts that I created in the resources of this Udemy course. I will also discuss some of the strengths and limitations to using video modeling with adolescents with autism that I observed through using video modeling in treatment sessions. I will conclude my presentation with questions to provide a self check of your understanding of the content. I hope you enjoy watching my presentation and please feel free to reach out using the contact information at the end of the presentation if you have any questions. Thank you!
