The course is a combination of my personal experience as a videographer, my education as a filmmaker and my experience in the online courses production.
We start with theory lessons about film and storytelling, moving to familiarity with our gear and hands on practical lessons in camera techniques and photography foundations . The course will also cover important subjects like audio and lighting.
In the last part of the course we will cover the post production stage where we will have hands on practical tutorials on well known editing program such as Adobe Premier Pro CC. We will also discuss various editing methods, and we will even learn how to use our smartphones as a working tool to achieve great results.
By the completion of this course, you should be fully capable to work and profit from your own videos.

Hey, I’m Yarin Goren, father, husband, filmmaker and entrepreneur. For over a decade I have been traveling and exploring each and every corner of planet, for personal exploration, wave hunting, spiritual growth and for various film projects. I have traveled to Costa-Rica, Fiji, Sri-Lanka for engaging with the ocean and surf, I have explored Thailand, China and Hong-Kong for business ventures and cultural exploration and traveled to Africa, Europe and the United states for film projects and of course lived three years in Australia where I got my Bachelor degree in Filmmaking from SAE Institute in Byron Bay.
Since I have completed my academic studies I moved back to my home town in Tel-aviv, Israel and took part in countless projects such as feature films, commercials and documentaries I have established a boutique production studio which specializes in designing video for the online digital medium.
In 2012 I was introduced to a few online learning platforms such as Lynda, Udemy and Skillshare and immediately I was hooked with the tutoring bug, since than I’ve designed and produced several online courses which can be found in various e-learning platforms. The courses I’ve produced were watched by more than 100,000 students around the globe and in person I have more than 4000 active students in Udemy.
I’m an avid surfer and a swimmer competing with elite master swimmers in israel, Hopefully one day I would like to compete internationally as well as swim in open water events. As a waterman I’m concerned about our planet’s health and ecology. I’m afraid we are heading to a point of no return towards an ecological meltdown disaster. My other main concern is technological disruption, fearing a future where Robots, A.I and algorithms will turn us humans useless and irrelevant and perhaps will divide our species even more.
I’m devoting myself to developing an educational system where we humans can work together globally to overcome these problems, and develop a more profound knowledge of ourselves and others. In my free time if I’m not in the water I’ll be meditating, writing, spending time with my friends and family or hugging my girl Alexa.
