welcome to Section 2- This section is all about the matte painting- In Section A we will clean up our still of unwanted cars so we have a clean plate to work with-

In Section B I will show you how to use all stills to grab cars from them to add to our main plate, with attention to size and creating masks for our new images.

You will learn how to use a garbage mask to isolate car and then we will dive into roto-scoping for a better way of masking the car- In this section the more time you put into your masking the better- I just went through it for the technique but if you look closely there are several frames that should be re-worked- Spend the time for a final production!

There are many ways to add smoke in AE with regular footage and plugins- but I will show you how to get a convincing smoke just by using AE-

Finally we bring the helicopter to finish out the scene- by using a pre-rendered helicopter its very easy to lay it into the video- If you wish to create your own helicopter render make sure to try the Bonus Tutorial- Blender Helicopter Animation

Using some blur key frames to add to the helicopter- Re arrange layers(smoke on top etc.

Another tip not added in the video: If you want to control the speed of the helicopter- select your helicopter layer then you can go to:

Layer>Time>Time Stretch and set to 150+
