Overall the course is great I’ve learned a great deal but have struggled to keep my attention on some of the tracks but that might be a personal challenge. I would of liked a bite more on how to actually coach a client or clients online vs in person. PDF on info to collect from clients and a bite more info on the actual business side of things including marketing

Hi, I'm Stephanie! I am the host of the hit Eating Like You Give a Damn podcast where I interview experts, innovators, and celebrities about the global movement towards a plant-based future.

I'm also the Award-Winning Author of the book The Skinny On Eating Like You Give A Damn.

My journey to teaching about vegan coaching as a business began after I earned my associate's degree in Elementary Education, and pursued my bachelor's in Professional Communication from Old Dominion University in 2009.

At the end of 2009, after uncovering some disturbing facts about the standard practices of our food system, I began seeing the world through a very different lens. Over the next few years while living in Bahrain and Italy, I started learning more and more about animals as food sources (and other consumer goods) that contradicted everything I had been taught to believe about my health, how my food choices affect the future of the planet, and the affect to each of the animals used for a profit.

I saw so much injustice, and I decided to be a part of the solution. So, I retired my old southern meat, egg and dairy-based recipes and learned how to create a menu of delicious and nutritious plant-based comfort foods. And, I have followed a healthy 100% plant-based diet and ethical vegan lifestyle ever since.

After just a short time, I experienced a host of noticeable improvements to my health as a result of choosing vegan-friendly foods. Most notably, a chronic digestive disorder I had suffered from since childhood (and had been declared irreversible by gastroenterologists) was suddenly healed.

Passionate about the power of a wholesome vegan lifestyle in all areas of life, including physical, mental, emotional and spiritual, I pursued my formal nutrition education with the American School of Natural Health in 2014 while working as the assistant to the founder and president. And, I became a graduate of the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies at eCornell in 2019.

Then, I set out to empower people to make informed choices that align with their values, too.

After consulting for practicing physicians to help their patients implement plant-based nutrition, I began my own coaching practice as a Vegan Health Coach in 2016 where I learned how to facilitate incredible results for clients and earn a great living.

I earned professional certifications as a Trainer, Coach, and Mentor with Success Resources, a company that provides transformative education and events for big names in personal growth like Tony Robbins, Sara Blakley, and Gary Vaynerchuk.
