Description

UX & Design Thinking Quick Start: AI-Enhanced gives you a practical foundation in user experience, design thinking, application design, user research, ideation, prototyping, and the growing role of AI in modern UX work.

The course is built around a simple idea: good UX starts with understanding people, framing the right problem, and making thoughtful design decisions. AI can accelerate parts of that work, but it does not replace research, judgment, testing, or responsibility.

You’ll learn how to understand user needs, gather and interpret research, shape better design directions, create useful flows and prototypes, and apply design thinking to real application design challenges.

You’ll also explore how AI is changing the UX workflow. The course covers AI-assisted research, ideation, prototyping, and the design of experiences where users interact directly with AI. You’ll learn how to use AI without confusing generated output with real evidence, and how to think about trust, transparency, privacy, user control, correction, and recovery when AI gets something wrong.

This course is practical, accessible, and focused on helping you build a way of working that can continue to evolve as the tools change.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Apply UX and design thinking to application design

  • Understand user needs and frame stronger design problems

  • Conduct and interpret user research

  • Turn research into useful design directions

  • Use AI to support research, ideation, and prototyping

  • Distinguish AI-generated output from real user evidence

  • Create prototypes faster without confusing polish with validation

  • Design AI-enabled experiences with trust, transparency, and user control in mind

  • Make better decisions using evidence, context, and human judgment

  • Build a UX practice that stays useful as AI continues to evolve

This course is a strong fit for UX designers, product designers, developers, product managers, business analysts, and anyone involved in creating digital products who wants a practical, current approach to UX and design thinking.
