Welcome to User Experience Design, UX Research, and UX Writing with AI course. This is a comprehensive tutorial for UX designers and UX researchers who are interested in using generative AI to create effective designs and turn UX research data into valuable insights that can improve user experience. This course will give you a whole new perspective about the future of UX design, you will be impressed to see how AI can significantly increase your productivity while still maintaining design quality. In the introduction session, you will learn about AI applications in UX design and understand how it can help you to speed up the design process and enhance your creativity. Then, in the next section, we will start the project. Firstly, we are going to create user personas and user stories using AI. This will allow us to better understand users, define their goals and needs, and translate them into actionable user requirements. After that, we are going to build interactive prototypes using AI. This will help us to test interactions and demonstrate how users can navigate between different screens and complete specific tasks within the product. Following that, we are also going to design wireframes using AI. This will enable us to quickly define the structure, content, and functionality of each screen. In addition, we are going to create sitemaps using AI which will help us to organize the pages and establish the overall structure of a website or application. Next, we are going to create user flow diagrams. By doing so, we will be able to visualize the steps users take to complete specific tasks and identify potential friction points. Afterward, we are going to create user journey maps. This map will enable us to visualize users' goals, actions, experiences, and pain points throughout their interaction with a product. We are also going to learn about information architecture, specifically, we are going to learn about content organization, labelling system, navigation structure, and search system. After learning about UX design, we will move on to UX research. Firstly, we are going to create user interview questions using Sprig, this will help us to prepare clear and relevant questions for gathering valuable user feedback. After that, we are going to perform usability testing using UX Pilot and Gemini, we are going to upload the design screenshot and AI will assess the usability, potential friction points, and identify areas for improvement. Following that, we are going to analyze user behavior using Microsoft Clarity. This technology enables us to understand how real users interact with a website through session recordings and heatmap. Additionally, we are also going to summarize UX research results using Julius AI. We can upload research data like survey responses or interview feedback, and AI can analyze the data, perform sentiment analysis, and turn the findings into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations. After that, we are going to create a comprehensive affinity diagram based on the UX research data and findings. By doing so, we will be able to visualize patterns, user needs, and pain points. After conducting UX research, we will move on to UX writing. Firstly, we are going to learn about basic UX Writing Principles, including clarity, conciseness, consistency, user centered language, informative content, and action oriented language. After that, we are going to write UX microcopy using AI for buttons, form labels, error messages, confirmation messages, placeholders, and menu labels. Lastly, at the end of the course, we are going to improve existing UX copy using ChatGPT and Claude, this will allow us to refine the wording, improve clarity, and create more effective user centered content.

Firstly, before getting into the course, we need to ask this question to ourselves, why should we design user experience using AI? Well, here is my answer, AI can help us to experiment and optimize the user experience design at a much larger scale. Imagine the effort and time it takes to create an effective UX design, find twenty participants to test the design, and then analyze the results one by one. However, with the help of AI, we will be able to generate and evaluate multiple designs, simulate usability testing, and analyze a much larger amount of UX data more quickly and effectively.
