Description

The Urban Self Defence online course is a comprehensive program designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to protect themselves in urban environments. Drawing primarily from the principles of Krav Maga, a highly effective Israeli martial art, this course also incorporates insights from other self-defense systems to create a well-rounded curriculum.

The third installment of the self-defense/Krav Maga online course is designed to take your personal safety skills to the next level. Building upon the foundation laid in the first module, and the second one, this advanced course delves into more intricate and potentially life-saving techniques. It focuses on defending against some of the most prevalent and dangerous attacks one might encounter in real-world situations.

Various kicks, a very possible form of attack, are addressed with a combination of blocks, positioning, redirecting defences and aggressive counters. Students will learn how to neutralize those threats and improve their counterstrikes.

Bearhugs, often used to control or to take people down, are countered with efficient techniques and counter-balance, allowing for a quick and efficient escape.

Defenses on the ground, a critical aspect of self-defense, provide skills to thwart assailants when taken to the ground, emphasizing escapes, reversals, and effective ground-based tactics. In this course we focus on escapes from side control and side headlock on the ground.

To add to your offensive skills, you will learn very valuable technique, double leg takedown. It can be used to avoid strikes and put attacker on the ground.

This comprehensive course not only equips participants with practical self-defense skills but also cultivates confidence and the ability to react swiftly and effectively in high-stress situations.
