In this first lesson, we'll create a new Unreal Engine 5.6 project, enable all the required plugins for the course, organize our project folder structure, and create a clean map for our workspace. This lesson provides the foundation for everything we'll build throughout the rest of the course.
In this lesson, we'll begin building the basic structure of our scene using Unreal Engine 5.6's Modeling Tools. You'll create columns, connecting walls, and other essential geometry while using tools such as Pattern, Mesh Cut, and other basic modeling features to establish a fast and organized workflow. By the end of this lesson, you'll have a solid scene foundation ready for the upcoming DMX lighting workflow.
In this lesson, we'll continue developing our scene using Unreal Engine 5.6's Modeling Tools. You'll learn how to refine the domes, use Plane Cut, Cut with Mesh, and other modeling tools to create clean transitions between geometries, and build the arch and wall connections to achieve a more realistic architectural structure. By the end of this lesson, the core architecture of the scene will be fully prepared for the upcoming lighting workflow.
In this lesson, we'll continue refining the architectural structure of our cistern using Unreal Engine 5.6's Modeling Tools. We'll complete the remaining wall and arch details, improve the overall geometry, and ensure that all structural elements are properly connected. By the end of this lesson, the base environment will be fully prepared for material assignment, texture workflow, and the upcoming lighting process.
In this lesson, we'll use Quixel Bridge to explore the Historical > Roman collection and select materials that best match our cistern environment. We'll compare different stone and brick surfaces, import them into Unreal Engine 5.6, and apply them to multiple architectural elements using an efficient workflow. By the end of this lesson, the scene will have a consistent historical material foundation, ready for further refinement and lighting.
In this lesson, we'll continue refining our historical environment by applying the imported materials to the architectural elements. We'll use UV Projection to achieve clean texture alignment, create a realistic water surface using a free Fab material, organize the project assets, and prepare the scene for the lighting workflow. By the end of this lesson, the environment will be fully textured and ready for dynamic lighting and DMX integration.
In this lesson, we will prepare the complete DMX workflow. You will verify the required plugins, organize the project folders, create the DMX Fixture Library, configure the Art-Net input and output settings, and build the first Fixture Type with its DMX addressing structure.

In this lesson, we will explore different animation styles and effects in Resolume Arena. We will experiment with clips, colors, speed, direction, transitions, and playback controls to understand how they affect our DMX lighting fixtures in Unreal Engine. The goal is to develop creative lighting animations through practical experimentation and real-time preview.
In this lesson, we will complete the final stage of the Cinematic Animation Workflow. We will create a new timeline, add and organize cinematic cameras, import a WAV audio file, and synchronize the sound with the vehicle animation.
We will then combine the animations prepared in the previous lessons into a single cinematic sequence. Camera cuts, animation timing, audio placement, and the overall sequence structure will be reviewed and refined.
By the end of this lesson, you will have a complete cinematic vehicle animation that is ready for final preview and rendering.

This is not a beginner-level Unreal Engine interface course. The course assumes that you already have basic familiarity with Unreal Engine 5, including navigating the interface, working with the viewport, importing assets, and using standard project tools.
The primary focus of this course is professional DMX lighting visualization and design workflow inside Unreal Engine 5.6.
Rather than teaching every Unreal Engine menu, button, or interface feature, the course demonstrates how to approach a real-world lighting visualization project from a lighting designer's perspective: preparing the environment, integrating DMX fixtures, planning DMX addressing, establishing Art-Net communication, creating lighting sequences, evaluating the visual result in real time, and producing professional cinematic output.
The course follows a project-based professional workflow. Some sections move directly between practical production stages instead of explaining every intermediate Unreal Engine operation.
