I also found that learning about PCGs, Volume Boundaries, and Exclusion Zones helped with the long load times. It might be helpful to add a section on adjusting the PCG density and the Volume Boxes for trees, rocks, and mountains, to keep computers from slowing down.
Context for others
PCGs control the amount of generated trees, rocks, and mountains, so reducing the "density - number of items in the level" significantly reduces the workload on your computer. Volume boundaries determine the zone where these items can be generated, preventing you from overgenerating items outside of your vision.
"Exclusion zones" prevent your computer from rendering things outside of the camera frame to reduce the stress on your computer.
Block a cinematic in Unreal Engine 5 by creating a level sequence, placing a mannequin and starfighters, keyframing the camera and ships, and refining rotation at 60 fps.
Create cascade particle systems to power laser effects for ships, including building a laser material, configuring emitter properties, sparks on impact, and triggering via sequencer for precise timing.
