Course content

1 section16 lectures4h 24m total length
  • Introduction to blueprints2:57

In this course, you are advised to apply what you learn to an empty scene or your example so we focus on Unreal blueprints specifically. I've also attached the 3D max model, Fbx, and Datasmith, files as a preference to import them to Unreal Engine and work with it.

  • Collisions23:13

In this lecture, we will be learning about collisions, how to design our experience boundaries, what to access, and what not.

  • What are blueprints?10:14

We will learn all about blueprints and understand how they work, and what backgrounds we need to advance further

  • Environment sounds14:03

You'll learn now how to add different sounds to your scene so that it sounds real.
Tip: use YouTube to .WAV online converters

  • Simple Door16:52

In this lecture, we will explain how to get a rectangular mesh and rotate it around a pivot point

  • Sliding Door With Curtains Animation30:30

Here you will learn how to get a rectangular mesh and move it along an axis with a desired distance, additionally, we will get a geometry cache(pre-animated curtains) and coordinate them with the movement of the rectangular mesh

  • Menu creation front end34:37

In this lecture, we will learn how to build our user interface widget, with the desired .png icons.
I've attached the icons you could need for your future projects below

  • Multiple Saves And Level Optimization6:43

During our projects, there are cases where we need to optimize our scene, here is how...

  • Menu Creation Back End9:38

Here we will learn how to connect all the blueprints together to make our menu functional.

  • Menu Animation30:34

Static menus aren't as fun as dynamic animated menus ;)

  • Material changer17:02

Here you will learn one of the core Archviz interactions, material changer, where we will learn to provide the client with options.
feel free to use your materials, you can create them, download them from Megascans, or you can look for our Unreal Engine 5 materials course on Udemy, where we teach you how to create any material you like.

  • Lights And Music On/Off14:08

In this lecture, you will learn how to make lights open and close through light source and light material.
together they create the ultimate realistic look for your scene.

  • TV and media10:57

Please pay attention to every detail, file extensions, locations, and items we need to check

  • Water animation7:02

Here we will learn how to get another geometry cache and make it look like water coming out of a tap, which gets activated through a button.

  • Object changer7:41

This is one of the most important concepts of interactions, where we can apply it on a big scale, such as a building façade, or a small one such as a small ashtray.

  • Packaging28:19

In this lecture, we will learn how to package our project to be able to send it to the client.
please pay attention to downloading the Windows Visual Studio, and make sure you check everything as in the video.

Requirements

  • Download Unreal Engine 5
  • Basic user interface knowledge

Description

Introduction
When we are talking about physical products, usually it's difficult to change our minds, especially after purchasing them, but through digital products, we can provide different options digitally, which eventually saves us a lot of time and money.

About
In this course, you will learn about blueprints and their different concepts, types, and compatibilities in the simplest way possible. You will also learn how to create many basic and advanced interactions in your scene, where you will be able to achieve professional and realistic results; send them to the client, where they can review their dream project in a real-time EXE product, and they can have options for a customized experience, changing whatever they are not sure about.

Kindly note
This course teaches you only about blueprints and easy-to-use interaction, and not everything you see in the introduction video in terms of rendering, materials, lighting, etc...as the introduction video clips were taken from a fully developed product,  that teaches Unreal as a whole and also shows exact blueprints you will learn in context. On the other hand, I've uploaded the MAX, FBX, and DATAsmith files so you can follow along with the same example, otherwise, you're free to use any example you desire.
