Description
These unofficial practice exams have been crafted by utilising Network Security Assessment 3rd Edition by Chris McNab, the official Crest CPSA Syllabus (which can be found on the Crest website) and also other online resources.
These exams should test your knowledge as thoroughly as possible in such areas as:
Soft Skills and Assessment Management
Core Technical Skills
Background Information Gathering & Open Source
Networking Equipment
Microsoft Windows Security Assessment
Unix Security Assessment
Web Technologies
Web Testing Methodologies
Web Testing Techniques
Databases
This course will be split up into two separate, timed practice exams, where you will have 2 hrs to complete 120 multiple choice questions, just as you would in the real exam, with a pass mark of 70%, just for good measure.
Students can review a wrong answer, which will provide the student with the correct answer and the reason why it is correct, possibly with links to back up the assertion.
In addition to this, a quiz just specifically on ports will also be available, covering well known TCP and UDP ports that are likely to be tested for the CPSA.
I have tried to make these tests as closely aligned to the CPSA Syllabus as possible to give students the best possible chance of passing the exam and moving one step further to becoming CRT and CHECK Team Member qualified.
Good luck!
