Description
This course introduces you to various forms of creative painting. It aims to help you find and develop your own personal creativity and visual expression according to your strengths and interests.
You will see step by step demonstrations on different creative processes that will help you to create an original and very personal artwork. We explore experimental techniques for composition, layering, textures, transparency and blind drawing, with an emphasis on the creative process and exploration. In one lesson you'll learn how to draw in 15 minutes!

Isabel Kumerz is a Spanish painter living in State College, Pennsylvania. She holds a BA in Graphic Design from the Kunstschule Alsterdam, Hamburg, Germany and a MFA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, US. In 2001 she moved to the US where she taught art at Penn State, the Art Alliance of Central PA, and Indiana University of PA while earning her MFA in Painting. In 2003 she began developing a new method to teach art, shortly afterwards students started shining on their own.
