Understanding Your DNA

This course will help you in understanding DNA better. In this course, you will be taught everything step by step as I tried to make it easier as possible for beginners or for intermediate level students that are learning or are interested in understanding about DNA. This course will have eight lectures that are:

1. What is DNA?:  It will give a basic understanding of what DNA is. DNA is a group of organisms that is responsible for carrying and transmitting the hereditary materials or genetic instructions from parent to offsprings

2. Types of DNA: It will give a brief introduction of the three types of DNA. There are three types of DNA that are A-DNA, B-DNA and Z-DNA

3. Who Discovered DNA: Who were the scientists who discovered DNA

4. DNA Structure: A very detailed explanation of the structure of DNA will be explained including components of DNA structure, DNA structure backbone and overall structure of DNA

5. Chargaff's Rule: What is Chargaff's Rule?

6.Interesting Facts about DNA: Some interesting Facts of DNA will be discussed

7. DNA Replication: The steps of DNA replication, importance of primers, roles of enzymes in DNA replication will be discussed

8. Properties of Enzymes: Physical and Chemical properties of DNA will be discussed
