Description

This course is designed for students to Understand the real-world computational problems, its nature and impacts in order to design the best algorithms to solve them. Students who are enrolled on this course will also Understand research mechanisms from structuring to analysis and conclusions as well as presentation of their findings. Understanding research is one of the key components of this course because it train students to learn how to do feasibility studies so that they can be able to determine, specify and understand requirement engineering or specification of a new software system. This course has exposed the world of computational problems by providing an  understanding  of the most affected years and business sectors affected by the software problems.  This is done purposely to make Students realise the challenges faced by the software engineering community so that they can  have an idea of how to solve the software problems  both technically and non technically. This research symbolises what needs to be done in the first stage of software development project to define the problems that need to be solved, understand them to recommend the best solutions for them. Therefore this is the most important skills needed in software engineering activities. Therefore, by the end of this course, student will understand the fundamentals of software engineering.

Who this course is for:

  • Beginners or new comers to the software engineering
  • Teachers or lectures
  • Company managers or workers especially in software engineering or development
  • Students studying computing, software and hardware
  • Researchers
