Understanding the Climate Change Controversy

Many political decisions today that directly affect the lives of citizens are made in the name of climate change. The global scientific community along with governments have failed to accurately inform the public about the certainty of what we actually know about the issue.  A complete story of the climate change process can be understood by the non-scientist and this course offers a clear and unbiased summary for the average world citizen about this controversy.

The course begins by introducing some common climate change myths. Next, the actual processes of both natural climate change (rarely discussed in most explanations) and human-sourced climate influences are explained. Then the costs and benefits of reducing or eliminating these influences are discussed. Finally, five important climate change takeaways are introduced for the student.

This course will appear a bit different from the conventional story that has been associated with climate change. I suggest you only take this course if you are open-minded and searching for the whole truth. Your instructor's credentials include a masters degree in environmental studies, a doctorate degree in environmental science, over 20 years as a college professor, and 12 years a department chairman. I have never been part of the climate change research community per se, which has given me an impartial and objective perspective. My climate change work was not funded by organizations who stood to gain from the prevailing coverage of the topic. I have no hidden agendas.  The content of this course is a result of over two decades of researching the topic and sharing my unbiased conclusions.
