UNDERSTAND REVELATION
FOREWORD
Pastor John Wasserman
Pastor of Airport Christian Fellowship, Johannesburg, South Africa
This book is unique...
‘Unique’, is a word often, lightly, or flippantly used. It is ascribed to people or objects, amongst other things. But ‘unique’ can also be a word most aptly or pertinently spoken when referring to these same subjects.
The reason this book is unique is not only found in its subject matter, which incidentally is refreshingly different from all other books on Revelation but by the fact of it being written by Annalise van Rensburg.
Annalise is someone uniquely equipped by God to write this book. Years of investing herself in the Word of God and in the ministry of the late Prophet Kobus van Rensburg, has resulted in an understanding of this final letter in the Bible. She has gained a biblical perspective and insight into the mysteries of John’s revelation. No-one can undertake the task of expounding Revelation unless they have an overview and grasp of the entire canon of scripture, from Genesis to Jude. Some of the early great Bible expositors correctly stated, that the Bible has enough light for its own interpretation. We don’t need to go to extra-biblical sources or into historical records necessarily to gain an understanding of this, most misunderstood of all the books in the Bible. I am persuaded that Annalise has gained light on this subject.
You will do well to prayerfully and carefully read this study. Read it without prejudice or bias and allow the Spirit to challenge your theology and hence, to change your life.

In Revelation 1 verse 3 it says, there is a blessing to be had for those who read and understand this prophecy. Annalise Van Rensburg has not only made it her mission to understand Revelation but also it is her heart to make it known to others bringing them freedom and delivering them from fear . So right here and now she shares her many years of study and hard work. This is not another end time, fear creating edition of man’s explanation of how Revelation fits into Armageddon and the beast and the number 666. No...No! Not at all!
This is an accurate “scripture declares scripture” portrayal of the finished work of the cross as it is the revelation of Jesus Christ.
A tracing of the mysterious, yet wonderful golden thread that runs through the scriptures from Genesis to Revelation proving and explaining symbols like trumpets, vials and horses. Giving definitions to numbers like 3, 4, 7, 1000 and 144000. All the while, keeping you captivated and ready for the next mystery to be revealed.
This is a must read! It will set you free from man’s opinion and interpretation of the current news, political stand offs as relating to end times. A must for every bible student.
Thank you Annalise for persevering to give us this great book!

This course is an easy understanding of the Book of Revelation. This knowledge then flows over into an understanding of the whole Bible and the finished work of Christ on the cross and the time leading up to the cross as well as the complete work after the cross. The Word explains the Word and the application of the Word is by the Spirit. Revelation cannot be studied separately from the rest of the WORD. Revelation started when Moses sang them a song of their destruction in Deuteronomy and then the prophets warned them about their end, and then Daniel revealed and sealed their end. Revelation is the complete work of Christ on the cross. Revelation reveals the final victory of the Christ that started on the cross and it deals with the final removal of the sacrificial system. The Pharisees and Sadducees sat in Moses’s seat and instead of celebrating the Christ, they crucified the Christ. All this happened in the fullness of time under Roman rule. We cannot change times and seasons or invent new Doctrines. We are to understand God’s eternal purposes worked out in time. 2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
