Opening up is an intricate part of this course because you will be working with your intuition, guidance that comes from the angels, from the Universe, from your higher self. Let's start creating our Library of Symbols with symbols associated with nature; symbols such as trees and flowers, and certain aspects of them.

What symbolism can we attribute to trees? We'll use a short visualisation to help you gather your insights.

What do you associate with thorns? Is there anything that pops into your mind when you see a picture of thorns, a thorny bush or a flower with thorns? Let's explore this more.

Without seeds we wouldn't be able to experience the beauty of flowers, plants or trees. Seeds have an important function and role in nature, but what do they symbolise to you?

What do we mean by landscape symbols on Angel & Oracle cards? Well, commonly found features include mountains and hills, the valleys in between, fields, and also the horizon. These are the symbols we'll look at in this section.

When you come upon a hill or a mountain in your life, what's the first thing you think of? That first thing you associate with a hill or mountain will, like with all symbols, be the first step to understanding the message behind that symbol on an Angel or Oracle card. When you embark on a journey, what might you experience along the way? What about the path you tread on? Or the bridge you may cross over, or the wall that stands in your way? Might you even encounter a doorway or archway on your journey? These are all symbols we'll look deeper into in this section.

When you walk your journey, do you always stick to a path or do you sometimes wander and veer off from it? And when you're walking your path, how far ahead into the distance can you see? Can you see you end destination? Do you need to see your end destination? These are all aspects of a path we'll look into in this video.

What is a bridge and what does it enable you to do? Through a short visualisation you'll experience a bridge on your journey.

What does an archway, doorway or gate enable you to do? Where, in relation to your journey, does it stand before you or behind you? Let's dive deeper into this symbol.

What is a wall? When you come upon a wall, can you climb over it or do you have to find another way round? Is it keeping you out or keeping you safe? All questions to consider when you see a wall on an Angel or Oracle card.

You may use a lantern to guide your way at night. But how far does its light shine? How much of the road ahead can you see when traveling with lantern?

There's more to the presence of a person on an Angel or Oracle card than you might, at first, think. What does a person symbolise on a card? What do features like faces, hands, or eyes signify? We'll look at each of these in this section.

The presence of a woman or a man on a card goes much deeper than you might think. They're not just presence to make the card more relatable. In this video I share the two ways I interpret the presence of a person on a card.

Children don't appear on Angel and Oracle cards very often but when they do and when they catch your eye, what could they signify? I share my thoughts in this video.

There are times when a whoel body appears on an Angel or Oracle card and then there are time when only the face appears. Why would this be? Why and how would you interpret a face on its own?

When you see a person's whole body on an Angel and Oracle card, the eyes may not feel important. Indeed, you may not be able to even tell if their eyes are shut or open. However, when only the face is displayed on the card, it's a lot easier for the eyes to catch your eye. So what's the difference between eyes that are shut and those that are open?

Hands can appear on their own in an Angel or Oracle card, with no attachment to a body or they can be highlighted as part of the body. Sometimes both hands are present; sometimes only one is present. What's the difference? And if only one hand is present, is it important to consider if it's the right or the left hand?

Just like how we discovered that there's more to people on an Angel and Oracle card than simply making the card relatable or adding to the pretty picture on the card, in this section we discover that clothing is more than just something that covers the body. Clothing also attracts various symbolic meanings.

Armour carries a myriad of symbolic meanings and I recommend, at this stage, to only choose one or two. What symbolic meanings will you attribute to armour? The visualisation in this video will hopefully help you to decide.

From the bulkiness, the heaviness, and the inflexibility of armour, we now go to the other extreme and determine what a leotard or any figure-hugging garment might symbolise.

Let's go even further and consider the symbolism behind a naked body on Angel and Oracle cards. The presence of a naked body highlights just how personal every symbolic meaning you create should be, for you. Let's find out why and let's discover what nakedness symbolises for you.

When you think of a cloak, does you mind immediately turn to the likes of Harry Potter? To wizards or even genies? Why do we associate cloaks with magical figures?

In modern times, we often associate capes with superheroes such as Superman, Batman or Thor. Do only superheroes wear capes? And what do capes symbolise on an Angel or Oracle card?
