Description

This course aims at giving students an introduction to diasporic literature. It also gives the learners an opportunity to know more about the works of Amy Tan, Agha Shahid Ali, Imtiaz Dharker and Chitra Divakaruni. It is specially designed for college students. This is a painstaking effort to critically examine the contemporary issues related to identity crisis, hybrid identity and the complex process of identity formation of the immigrants residing in a foreign country leaving their homeland behind.
